Robertshaw RS6110 1 Heat/1 Cool Digital 7 Day Programmable Thermostat Heat Pump, Single Stage

This is an excellent thermostat. I had a little trouble installing it because the connector block is a little small and awkward. Also, the jumper fell out and I couldn't find it and I had to make a new one and I had a little trouble getting all the connections to work.I called the help desk and it looks like they have recently changed their help line. The gal I spoke to was very nice, but she couldn't offer any real help.Once I got all the connections ok, the unit worked perfectly! In fact, my old Lux thermostat would keep the A/C on all day, but this thermostat cycles as you would expect. I like being able to properly add an offset to the temperature, so that the display shows the correct temperature. I also like the fact that I can manually change the temperature for a short duration of my choosing. Very easy to use!

This thermostat is easy to install. Once it is powered on for the first time, it is easy to set up as it walks you through all of the settings. I bought it because it has a temperature differential setting so I can control how often my AC compressor turns on (I do not like it to cycle too often). The display is large and easy to read. The battery try is easy to access without removing the face. I am looking forward to the auto switching between heat and cooling.I have only had this thermostat installed and operating for a few days. I will update as necessary.

Old design device. Return it after spent hours to install and found it didn’t work.

Like everyone has been saying, the unit was easy to install, and once you have been through the menus a few times, it's absolutely a cake walk to program. I especially like the ability to copy a schedule from one day easily to any other days simply by pressing one button.Functionality is a champ - the ability to program a 7 day shcedule, with auto-changeover between heat and cool is a major win at this price is unbelievable.From an aesthetic perspective, I would like to see a couple of improvements:-The blue light is a little too bright - the ability to dim it would be nice but the only options are "on" or "off".-The door is lightweight and catches as you swing it shut-Build quality is frankly a little flimsy compared to the Honeywell unit this replaced.Time will tell the durability of this unit, but it's been running like a top for a few weeks now and no issues to report.Great buy.

I have a Heat Pump Installed. I tried installing this twice during the summer here in Florida and both times could not get A/C to work, it would only go to "heat mode". I'll wait until temperatures cool down to try again and then see if customer support can help. I will update post and rating either way.

I LOVE this thermostat. We had this one at my work office and it was so easy to use I bought it for my home. It is a horizontal thermostat so if you're current thermostat is vertical you will need a wall plate (I recommend the Honeywell wall plate, fits like a charm).This thermostat is fully programmable for each day of the week, with 4 different times (wake-up, leave for work, come home, bed time). You set the times, the temps, and best of all it has the dual function feature for fall and spring. If it drops below your heat comfort temp the heat kicks on, and if it rises above your a/c comfort temp the a/c kicks on. Easy peasy!

While these work, they work great. However we have had them (4 - because our house is zoned) and 2 of them cannot "remember" the date and time - even though they have new batteries in them.

I purchased the Robertshaw to replace the Honeywell thermostat that I bought about six months ago. The Honeywell did not function as I had hoped it would, and I was just tired messing with it.The Robertshaw was easy to install, easy to program, and has worked just fine. I wanted to get my HVAC working , in preparation for the cold weather I expect to see soon. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Robertshaw. The price was right, the directions were easy to follow, and, most importantly, IT WORKS!

Best single stage heating & cooling thermostat you can by. I have 2 storey house and circ feature really helps equalize temperature. Also love the adjustable differential. I have mine set to max...much less cycling of furnace and ac
