I must agree 100% with the 6.25.2015 review by Dane Powellon
I'm going to attempt bending the tabs to make them less tight. I guess it would have cost more had they been spring loaded. Oh well, like the reviewer below says, "I guess you get what you pay for."By Dane Powellon June 25, 2015Color: Indigo|Verified PurchaseThis would be an awesome case except for a couple of nasty design flaws. The quality and construction is great, and I really appreciate the cutout for the pogo charger. But everything about this case is "press fit" and a pain to use- you have to press hard on all 6-7 of the retaining tabs to pop the Nexus 10 into the case, and it barely seems to fit. Then if you want to use the multi-angle stand, you have to pop the tablet out of the bottom two tabs. Finally, to close the case you have to pop the tablet back into those two tabs, and press hard on the latch to get it to close completely. The whole process takes about 10 seconds and feels really clunky, as opposed to something like the Origami Kindle cover or iPad Smart Cover, which open very fluidly in under a second. I'm shocked that more people haven't complained about this in the reviews. I guess you get what you pay for.

UPDATED--Not great, quite difficult to use
I was not going to write a bad review because I paid the equivalent of 2 Starbucks lattes for my case. I just put it in the pile with the rest of tablet covers/cases I own and moved on. I estimate that over the last 3 years I bought, sold and replaced several tablets--couple of Samsung's, 7 and 10 inch, a couple of Motorola's-- a 10 inch Xoom and a 8.2 inch Droid Xyboard and a even a Kindle Fire which I gifted to my daughter). On top of it I bought at least a couple if not three cases for each until I found the right one. So I consider myself a minor expert on what makes a proper case. I decided to write a review because another seller, with a better case could have made a sale.At first sight, the case seems well made and it is--but heavy. It's got that intriguing handle inside so you can carry it around. The problems start when you try to install it. You have to REALLY push the Nexus 10 until it fits, and in the end it is not a snug fit, not by far. The "claws" do not keep the tablet in place and at the same time it makes it difficult to mount. I guess the hinges are not aligned or cut properly. This is a problem because you have to take the lower part of the tablet out of the "claws" so you can use the stand, and every time you do that, you have to fight to take it out and put it back in. Second problem, just as annoying is that the cover does not close and, again, I did not want to push so hard, so it neither open nor closed.Third, and most annoying problem is that one of the "claws" or hinges that keeps the tablet in place is too close to the earphone jack, so unless you have one of those really skinny plugs without extra bulk around it, it does not stay in.I am going to give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt--they did not know their case would end in the hands of a curmudgeon. It is possible that my case was in a batch that had small manufacturing defects, they knew it and offered it at rock bottom price. Not everyone would notice the defects or care. I see that Amazon now sells it for considerably more than I paid for mine. They must be confident of customer satisfaction. It is also possible that through everyday use the stiffness will go away and the case will end up fitting perfectly. Maybe. Make your own judgment on that, I am not willing to find out.I am waiting for delivery of another case from Amazon, a lighter one by a different maker. The search continues.UPDATE 3/13/2013--After reading my review, the seller, BCStore, contacted me and offered to send me a new case free of charge. I accepted and the case came today. All the problems I complained about in my review have been resolved and I assume I got an "off spec" case the first time, just as the seller suggested. The Nexus fits perfectly and easily, the earphone jack can be used with a "fat" plug and the cover closes snuggly. Such customer service is uncommon and I thought I had to mention it.

Was told it was better quality than my Bluerex.. I was told wrong.
Where the quality of the material (matte) was a little nicer than the BlueRex case... that is basically where the postitives ended. The problems are as follows. The cut out for the camera and flash are too close where the outer lens is almost flush with the cutout. It should have been cutout with a 45 degree angle like the bluerex. Next, the closing lip is made to short and is at a 90 degree angle which not only does not close flush to the tablet, it does not even wrap around the lip of the tablet make a secured clasp. The blurex has a little U-Lip form factor that safely goes over the outer edge of the tablet making a secure closing fit. The fitment is so bad that the closing lip makes direct contact with the face of the tablet and has to be forced to make it over the lip of the tablet. Also, the fitment is so tight that you can barely get the tablet in and out of the Mako case. I understand you want a snug fit, but I was borderline grunting to get this thing is and out of the case.I will most likely be returning this item because of the false claims and poor design.
