You'll need to measure the fullest part of your bust (NOT bra size) to get the proper measurement . Keep the measuring tape snug but not too tight. 2 Measure your waist. Bend to one side and find your waist's natural crease. At the crease, measure around your waist, making sure that the measuring tape is a bit loose. You can also find your natural waist by measuring 2 inches up from your belly button. It's usually the smallest part of your waistline. 3 Measure your hips. Stand with your feet together. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and rear. This is typically midway between your crotch and your belly button. 4 Look at our size chart. I LOVE this dress
I LOVE this dress!! Very beautiful and well made. I haven't had any issues with it thus far and I've had it about 2 years and worn it at least six times. It was originally my Homecoming Princess dress. I am a plus size woman; size 18/20 jeans, more gut than butt (at the time) and 42DD. It fit well and covered my midsection well.The only downfall is that if you are busty, you need a VERY supportive bra in addition to lacing the top of the dress tight. I even had to have it taken in at the top because it was too loose. That May be a have to be an option because if you don't the top of the dress will slide down or buckle over. If you have small chest then you should be fine.

Beautiful color, good quality, and... you guessed it. WAY TOO SMALL.
As every other reviewer has said, order AT LEAST 2 sizes up.I'm usually a 2 (sometimes 4). To be safe, I ordered an 8. I'm not sure what body type this would be ideal for (extremely tall/extremely skinny?)--What I do know:1) It was extremely long (even in 4+ inch heels there was at least 1.5 feet of extra fabric draping on the floor). I'm 5'3, so if you're 5'8+ it might fit you with heels.2) The fabric/color looks great, but didn't drape the way I wanted it to. Maybe because it was too long, but it was clingy and crinkly against my skin/legs. I felt like I was drowning in fabric.3) Let's talk about the bust: It's not at all flexible/forgiving. Even in an 8, I couldn't even get the zipper to start zipping. I admit I'm rather chesty so that could also be a problem.Recommendations if you plan to buy:1) Be tall & plan to wear heels.2) Possibly order 3 sizes larger. The problem with this: The bigger the bust, the more fabric you'll get (both in length and in the general shape of the dress). Like I said, I felt like I was drowning in fabric.Anyway, I had to return this dress but hopefully you have more luck than I do!

Runs small Looks great!
This review is for the Meier Sweatheart Pleated Evening dress in the Mauve color. This dress is beautiful! But beware it does run quite small. I normally wear a 14/16 size bottoms so I ordered the size 20...it was still a bit snug around the waist. The dress has a zipper in the back with the corset ties. It also came with a shawl and spaghetti straps...I'm still not sure if I will use them or not. The dress is super long, but disclaimer here...I'm 5'2. I decided to add a rhinestone belt to add a little bling to it. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would buy from this company again. I will try to add pictures after I wear the dress.

So uncomfortable
This dress looked pretty out of the box but once it was put on it was horrible!! The hem of the dress unraveled cause my foot to get stuck in the bottom of the dress at the party. The small plastic snap in the back of the dress came unsewn the minute I went to unsnap the dress to try it on. It comes with thin straps to help hold the dress up (which are optional), which would of been amazing since the dress constantly falls down causing the middle section to bunch up, but the clasps came unsewn from the strap (and the hook unsewn from the dress) when I tried hooking it to the dress. If I would of known this I would of reinforced everything before I put the dress on to leave for the evening. My breasts never got in the top correctly cause the metal pieces they have in the bust are located in an odd spot so basically all night my boobs/cleavage were on full display. This was the most awful, uncomfortable dress and not worth the money spent on it! The dress was pretty on the hanger and a pretty pale peach color, besides that it was awful!

Beautiful dress in royal blue and burgundy colors. Would recommended but do size up if your curvy.
I ordered this dress to wear to a formal evening wedding in Florida. After reading reviews of other I decided to order up 2 sizes for the event. I'm normally a size 14 and ordered the 18. It was slightly (an inch or so) too big in the bust but the corset/lace up style back easily remedied the problem as you can tighten it to your body type. I also purchased the 16 and it was just too tights and I thought the 18 looked more comfortable.The royal blue is beautiful and paired very well with a necklace I also purchased on Amazon. (See picture) Name of necklace: Zhenhui 3 Pieces Elegant Jewelry Set Vintage Gold Tone Multicolored Bling Crystal Glass Choker Statement Bib Collar Necklace Stud Earrings Set for Women and Girls (Pink)Only reason I did not give 5 stars: On the back of the dress in the corset/tie up portion of the back there is a small fabric panel inset. This is secured with three small closures or buttons on one side and on the other only one. It came loose about 3 times throughout the evening while dancing and moving around. I will likely bring this to my seamstress to put in a more sturdy fastener for future wears. Not the end of the world but just a small observation for improvement.Overall this dress is an absolute steal for the price. I could have easily paid $150+ at any boutique or store at the mall for a very similar style. I received a ton of compliments on the color of the dress and think it is very flattering. I would recommend.Length: I am 5ft 4 inches and wok 85 mm heels (~3.5 inches) and needed about 2 inches hemmed off. I could have gone without a hem had I worn higher heels with a platform.

Amazing and gorgeous dress!!!
I rarely ever write reviews on Amazon because I think it's kind of pointless really lol. But I'm the type of person to read ALL reviews before buying anything whether they are good or bad. I ordered two dresses but different sizes just in case for a formal function. The first dress I bought fit absolutely perfectly (I didn't even try on the second dress). The size that fit however was bigger than what I normally wear (size bigger) but I followed the size chart. The color was a little off than pictured but I like it even more because it's more like a beige neutral color and not grayish like pictured. I'm a tall person (all legs!!) so the length is not bad at all!! My only gripe albeit small was that you will need help putting the dress on because of the lace in the back. I wish I can give this more than five stars because it's so deserves it!!! I will be buying from this seller in the future!!
