Poor support and difficult to understand website.
I did expect with lifetime maps I would be able to choose the maps I want. This was not the case. The supplier could not download the maps I wanted . Garmin said it would contact me in 3 days but I heard nothing after 3 weeks. Later when I tried to contact them through Garmin Express I got the message saying the URI contained faulty characters , so no contact. I rang Garmin UK who said that if I wanted European maps I would have to pay for them .I bought a microchip with the maps on them costing £80 I have not yet been able to download updates because Garmin express does not recognise that I have it on my machine. I found the website almost impossible to use. Unable to find how to load the chip. In the end I just pushed it in the slot and hoped for the best. Now when I go to update all I get is the offer to update the american map. No indication at all that I now have the European map on my gadget. Had I purchased in UK maybe I would not have this bother but Garmin UK do not sell the nuvi 2798 lmt with backup camera so that was the reason for going to the states. Up till now the support has been very poor.I feel that one star is being generous. Reg DockertyNow when I go to Garmin and try for updates I am asked for the the ID of the nuvi 2798 . This is found in the device section. Garmin say it is not recognised. Can it get any worse. Watch this space.

Hurray for big screen/new technology
GPS is great. i haven't gotten the backup camera installed yet, but I'm looking forward to using it.
