Brach's Milk Maid Royals, 2 LB

These use to be my favorite but with this purchase I won't ever buy again these are so old and so hard you cant eat them I would return them but this purchase is not eligible for return so I'm leaving this review hoping to get someone's attention please do not sale this product to anymore customers I have never gotten anything edible from Amazon before and i actually live in the city where a bracs factory is located guess maybe I'll take them this bag and let them try it and break a tooth I'm so disappointed this candy wasn't real expensive but still around 12.00 for a 2 lb.. bag I think may need to double check the wght. But none the less I would be glad to pay 12.00 for Fresh chewy milk maid candy but not throw away 12.00 in the trash for stale old hard as heck candy and probably acquire a dentist bill after trying to bite into one of them if asked I would be glad to send proof or to make video of this product I really would like a refund so I can buy a different candy i would give Amazon and Brachs one more try and pray they get it right but we shall see

These taste good. The wrappers are a little hard to get off, but the candy is fine in texture and taste.My issue is that they arrived this evening, March 28th, 2018, emblazoned with a huge sticker that says they expire on March 31, 2018. Um. It’s an awfully big bag to eat in 3 days, guys.I doubt they’ll become inedible in the few months it takes to eat them, but it’s disheartening to receive them almost expired, y’know...?A photo of the bag and a screen shot of today’s calendar are attached.

I didn't read any reviews about this until after I ordered and after reading many negative reviews, I was worried that I wasted my money. However, the package arrived on the date that it was supposed to and I was surprised to see that the variety in flavors was better than I ever got in the grocery store. None of the toffees were clumped together or hard or out of the wrapper. This was a great buy since I can never find them in the store anymore. If you like these candies, this is a great deal.

I saw these in a Pick A Mix bin and remembered them from when I was a kid. Husband had never heard of them and was not impressed with his first few bites. However, he is now addicted to them. They have disappeared from our supermarket Pick A Mix bins- I guess due to the pandemic- so I was happy to find them on-line. They came packed in a heavy plastic bag which I was happy about since the candy was shipped in the same box as 12 bars of sandalwood soap. But the plastic bag did it's job and kept the soap smell out so the candy tastes as great as always. I prefer the fruit ones, my husband likes all 6- vanilla, chocolate, maple, orange, raspberry or butter rum cream filling inside a tube of creamy caramel.

I hadn't seen these for eons til I found them here on Amazon. Remembered them fondly from childhood but hadn't had them since, and now I have diabetes so I didn't want to eat a ton. It occurred to me I could take them along for Christmas dinner. My sibs had similar good memories, and it was cool to see my nieces and nephews, who'd not had them before, enjoy them now. They were good enough that we were debating favorite flavors! If you've not had them, they're worth trying and if you have, they won't disappoint your memory. Yum.

I loved these as a kid. It was very nostalgic to have them again. They are tasty. As an adult, or course, they seem sweeter than I remember, but still, I would have these on hand all the time... If I could trust myself with them, LOL. It's way too easy to eat too many. I would buy again. If you remember these from the Brach's display at the grocery store (where you could pick through and buy your favorites), you will not be disappointed. The orange and raspberry are my favorites. Vanilla is good too. And chocolate... heck, they are all good!

I’m so glad that the bad reviews for this candy didn’t scare me off! I went back and forth with ordering them for weeks & finally just decided to risk it- it’s candy, how bad could it be!? THEY ARE SO GOOD! These were my favorite candies to steal from the Brach’s Pick-A-Mix bulk section as a muscreant child in the 80’s and I am so happy they still exist!They arrived quickly and were so soft and exactly how I remembered them. The butter rum ones are still the best of the bunch! 2 pounds will not be enough!

I have fond memories of finding these in my grandmother’s candy dish on special occasions when I was a kid. I’ve wanted some for so long but could never find them in the store, so I’m thankful they were available here! When they arrived, they were fresh and chewy and tasted JUST like I remembered. The 2 pound bag is pretty large and I have challenges with self-control, haha! Thankfully I’m going to visit my grandmother this week and I plan to bring her some. She’ll be tickled!
