Buyer beware: Lots of limitations to be aware of before you consider this camera.
Decent camera but has some major flaws/limitations.1. Cannot change port for rtsp (video stream). Cannot specify/set static IP.2. Cannot access camera via web browser. So you're stuck having to use a poorly worded and designed app to make limited setting changes.3. Files save on card as some unknown file format (.av). Cannot open saved videos in any media player, even tried changing file extension to known types (mp4, avi, mpg...).4. Videos/photos saved on card cannot be accessed via app. App only replays video manually recorded by app saving files onto phone. So all the motion-detected videos captured by the camera are useless.5. No stand. You need to wall-mount this. For many, this may be okay. But you can't simply set it somewhere fun to record-- something that would otherwise be great given the fact it can run off of usb battery pack.6. App installs by default with every permission under the sun. Contacts, phone, sms, location, you name it. But app will work fine if you manually switch off all these permissions in Android app settings. If you are comfortable with these limitations, the camera may work for you.

Affordable option - relatively simple setup
Not bad for coverage where you don't need a high-end camera. Picture quality is great for the price, in my opinion. Mic works well. ir illumination is surprisingly decent. (I have not attempted to use the speaker in my setup.)I used the wifiinfo.txt approach to configure the wifi settings and used an old micro SD card. Super easy, but remove the file after it's on your network! Reserved an IP address in my DHCP server for it. Setup a password using the Digoo application on a spare PC. Brought it into a Hikvision NVR very easily using ONVIF. (I did not need a mobile phone to configure the camera for my purposes.)This is the only "security" camera I'm currently using on wifi, though. I greatly prefer PoE-powered cameras since I need to provide power to them anyway. I'm going to try their M1X as it supports wired network, but it doesn't look like it's PoE, unfortunately.I'm testing off a USB powerbank to see how long the camera can be (external) battery-powered with what I have laying around. It looks pretty miserly for power consumption when the ir LEDs are off. I've been running it for hours off a 5200mAh bank and the bank hasn't even registered the drop in power yet.I haven't tested the wifi strength, but it's at least passable. No complaints, but I won't expect it to work super far off.

Impressive if working, and that is a big IF
I bought this camera on prime day to supplement my nicer cameras. I was not expecting much based on the price, but was initially shocked at how well it worked. Set up wasn't too difficult and the picture quality was surprisingly good in both lit and dark conditions. I got the camera to check on the dogs while at work, and it worked well for a few days. Then one day I log in and it says my password is wrong. I try and try to get logged in to no avail. When I got home from work I did a full reset and set the camera up again. It worked fine for a few more days and then suddenly wouldn't show video on the app. Everything says the camera is online, but when I try to load the live feed it errors out. It usually says there is a network error, but my other camera works fine (as does all other wifi products in the house). This camera is also much closer to the router than my other cameras, so I have come to the conclusion that this thing is a piece of junk. I gave it two stars because when it does work, I am impressed. It just doesn't seem to work that often.

you get what you pay for
A cheap camera that worked as expected. Resolution is pretty good but suffers from glare. Is actually better than expected at night, but night LEDs will not work thru glass they just reflect back at the camera. This appears to be a recent start-up product. The software is confusing to use. Feels like it is just out of beta. The phone app is battery hungry and it appears that the alarm only works if the app is open. Even without an alert if the app is in the background it will wake the phone from standby and open even if the phone is locked. Having the screen lit up in my pocket is pretty hard on the battery. If you want to stop the software you have to use force stop. Software wants access to things it doesn't need to run.The desktop software demands admin access to function, dangerous and no good reason other than poor programming. The screen will not allow resizing, just full screen and minimize. Fullscreen opens under the taskbar and some buttons go away when minimized. It will not allow snap split screen, you have to resize others around it. The desktop software is really only for monitoring, useful functions like camera settings are all missing. At first glance, it appears that you can record from the desktop but the only buttons are for playback.Time setting requires you know how UTC zones work, PDT is -7 (or just keep guessing) and it will not default to phone time. It is designed to hang flat on the wall. If you want to do anything else you have to provide it yourself. On the positive side, I got it to use as a cheap way to judge camera angles and field of view before I order good equipment.

Never worked for me
I tried dozens of times to connect to this device, using the available software from the App Store. Never could 'find' it, even though it was 1-3 ft away, as suggested in the software prompts. The last time I was going to try again, I plugged the charger cord into the device and nothing happened. I unplugged it and something rattled inside the device; broken apparently.I waited a month to open this package. I waited again after finding the software because the text was Chinese characters. Who installs software they can't read? Impatient me did because I wanted to use the camera to monitor my pets when they are alone. Can I return the device for a refund? A replacement doesn't sound wise.I have deleted the Digoo software from my phone. Ironically, my phone is behaving oddly.
