Best bang for the buck jointer.
I absolutely love this thing. Bang for the buck you can’t come close. Finding an 8in jointer in this price range is hard enough, let alone the cutter-head. The cutters that ship on this appears to be HSS but you could easily replace each cutter with a carbide one as you replace them really cheaply. None of my cutters are showing any signs of wear after multiple projects though so I’ll probably use the stock ones for quite a while (they can be rotated as well). Very little setup, if you’ve put together the fence on one of the 6in benchtop jointers you know the process. Fence has stops for multiple angles but I’ve only used the 90 setting. Nice long bed (infeed and out) and adjustable extensions (like on a miter saw stand) make feeding long boards easy without causing snipe. This and a benchtop planer makes straight, flat and square boards every time.

Blown Away
First Impression:This is my first jointer. It took less than an hour to get unpacked and set up (I had a 7434 AccuMASTER digital angle finder which expedited my fence adjustment), and then I went straight to making perceptibly perfectly square, flat, and straight boards. Putting the square and straight edge to the first edge felt like a huge level up and I'm anticipating a jump in the quality and precision of my joinery projects now that I'll have more reliable references. This was an upgrade to save time from trying to 4 square boards with a garage sale Baily style hand plane, in retrospect this should have been my first major power tool purchase.5 stars, I'm extremely pleased (I may update this review in the future)

am very happy with the purchase
Have owned this for a couple of weeks, used it several times, and am very happy with the purchase. No problems shipping, modest assembly was very easy. It's a very solid, well-made tool, and the spiral cutter head definitely delivers superior results to the straight blade cutter head. I now own two Cutech tools (I purchased the planer as well), and have found them both to be an exceptional value/quality for the price.

Great tool for the price!
This tool arrived on time and was very easy to assemble and adjust. It does a fantastic job jointing edges and as a planer for faces. It is a bit loud and I could have used some better pictures in the assembly instructions. All in all I am very happy with it and glad I went for the 8" machine

Three Stars
It's an excellent tool but I have never been able to get a jointer to work properly.

not reliable cuts
does not cut consistently, larger blocks of hardwood do not square up. I have the fence and table square and the cutter head square with fence cannot get a square cut. The head appears secure in the bearings but might be flexing during cut. Not happy with this product.
