Mace Brand Police Strength Pepper Spray Pen Defender

Pen works great, conceals easily, almost too easly. I've bought 2, because the first pen was left on the table, and my mother in law grabbed it and hit the button thinking it was for the ink tip......NOPE! And she got hosed in the face! lolAnd the 2nd pen I bought....same result...Had a poker game during the summer, and I forgot nothing of it, and the friends kid grabbed it and started spraying it into the fan. It took us a bit to realize what had happened, and that house got cleared out.So...works great, just make sure you know where you put it!

Haven't tested the pen on any one yet, so cannot comment on its effectiveness. Pen arrived on time, and looks sturdy. Have not been able to find an ink refil for the pen, so wil only be able to use it for its 'hiding in plain sight' value.

Great idea however Ive purchase 3 so far and all of them end up with caps falling off which makes it dangerous. If you have in your pocket it can go off in defferent ways including reaching for it and not remembering what pen is there. Also my company will use it thinking its a pen and hit the top button and get sprayed. Unfortunately this has happened alot. Im trying to figure out a way to keep top on and not sure it can be done. Im noticing alot of reviews are talking about other people using pressing button unknowingly and getting sprayed. I guess im not the only one without caps on it

i like the thought behind this pen however it is dangerous. my lid kept falling off the top of the pen. the ink dried up after awhile. i quit using in fear of spraying myself or my family.

i purchased and returned four mace products before getting this one. this is a compact size, works as a pen, so you can keep it in your pocket as the pen for the day. the top pops off well, and it sprays the opposite direction as the clip, so if you hold it this side facing you you know it will spray on the perpetrator. what else. only sprays five feet which is fine for an attack situation. probably the only mase product this size that is usable. i would keep track of how many blasts it has, and probably (for peace of mind) replace it with a new one after use.

This is excellent. Easy to carry and is functional (can be used as a regular pen). I got two - one for my niece and the other for a friend. I think it should be a must for women.

Pen works, mace works. The only problem is that the little top to the mace where you press down fell off. It is a little plastic piece. I am not sure if this is a common problem but it is worth considering.

Very covert, just a little fat though but still is effective. I would recommend it to others. If it was a little skinnier it would be perfect.
