IMPORTANT NOTES FOR AQUASCAPERS
UPDATE: It's been one month and the leaves have started elongating... I still don't know if all the seeds here are for elongated stem plants or if just some. But this is not good news.I wrote a long detailed review, but it somehow got lost. Here are the cliffnotes:-These seeds are notorious for not being what they are claimed to be. What most sellers are selling look a little like Glosso or HC Cuba when they're young, but eventually grow into tall, stemmed, long-leaved plants like Hygrophila Polysperma. Apparently, most of the youtube reviews of "Magic Seeds" are recorded before the seeds grow to adulthood.-This is the only seller I've found whose plants seem to look reasonably close to what it advertised at what appears to be adulthood. Even if not Glosso or HC (probably won't be), I'm hoping this becomes a good carpeting alternative for the low tech planted tank.-I'm going to be religiously updating this review with pictures and info on the growing process so we could hopefully see exactly what this plant grows up to be (at least with this seller). Feel free to message me somehow for more details.Updates:-I used a third of the packet to pretty generously cover my 2.5 gallon shrimp tank with the smaller seeds and I sprinkled a pinch of the larger seeds in one corner for comparison. I'm using Ecocomplete subtrate and Lighting 12 hours daily with a 500 lumen soft light LED bulb from my hardware store. I'm misting primo water with spray bottle a handful of times a day.-With a proper dry start method, the seeds germinated at exactly the time advertised (5 days).-In another 3 days, it looks lush and strong. Already, I'm wishing I were keeping frogs in this instead.-In 11 days from planting, I had a perfectly carpeted 1 cm to 1 inch high carpet (image 7). The leaves of the small seeds are staying small so far. The new growth underwater seems to be a little bit larger in diameter, but still looking good.-One month in and leaves are elongating and stems are growing taller. This is starting to look less like what is advertised and more like what other sellers have been found to sell.

Don't give up on these Magic Seeds!
I added these seeds to a new tank setup. The seeds are gooey when wet, so I'd never use them on an established tank with fish already settled in. The first 4 days I saw nothing but wet gooey seeds, as I had about 1/2 inch of water on top of the Eco-soil. I started to just rinse them out and give up, but I decided to siphon out the excess water with a turkey baster and just left it muddy. Then I added an LED light for a few hours, hoping that I wouldn't have to remove all the seeds and just do a regular tank. After 2 days with less water and adding light for about 3 hours both days, I started to see green sprouts! I was so excited. Then, after 2 more days I still had a gooey seed/plant mixture in the tank, I decided to flood the tank with water. The very next day I plugged in my filtration and with the LED lights these plants took off. Attached are pics of the tank after 2 weeks. You can even see how strong the root system is in the close up as they are just dangling down off the decorations. These seeds planted and grew wherever they landed. Now I LOVE my first planted tank setup. I just wanted to tell you all to not give up on these seeds. They planted beautifully! I am ordering another packet to grow outside my tank once these die off. So, next step is to see how long it lasts!

it does not look like it was described
I am a month after I planted these seed in my aquarium. it does not look like it was described. This is totally different plant and for sure it is too big for the carpet. It is growing and growth with pretty long leafs.

NOT GLOSSOSTIGMA
Not Glossostigma. It's actually a species of terrestrial plant called Celosia. Amazon, please do something about this false advertising.

Pretty sure they sent me an illegal plant
Whatever seed they sent me is not glossostigma... if you receive these seeds, dont throw them out. Soak them in bleach or donate them to the USDA. Highly invasive ugly aquatic weed. Looks like glosso only for first month then gets brown floppy and huge

It grows!
I added these seeds to my already up and running tank. For starters!!! It is best to do this before tank is setup. The seeds do stick together once they are wet. I expected this and my idea was to use a large bore syringe to plant the seeds. This mucus/ enzyme coating that forms is like super putty!!! Luckily I didn’t dump the seeds in. Once they were wet, I was able to pull it apart (like putty) and just submerge it beneath the substrate. Definitely not ideal but it did work. Seeds went every where and it was a total mess. At first I was afraid, I thought the fish were gonna get stuck in spider web like strands that formed, but it wasn’t the case. My algae eaters started eating the gunk right away. Just after a few days they started sprouting. On rocks, on boat, on other plants,... you name it it had little green leaves growing on it. Truthfully I don’t know what kind of plant it is haha. But it is green and it does appear to be coming in lush in just one weeks time. I will update post in near future with further progress.Edit: Added some updates photos/ video around the 2 month mark.
