The Edition X V2 has an improved headband design that will accommodate a wider range of head sizes. The Edition XV2 has a newly updated yoke in metal that helps to increase stability and durability. The original yoke is in plastic. The Edition XV2 also features improved beveled ear pads that are thicker with a larger asymmetrical angle. The newly updated Edition XV2 also changes the earpad surface that makes contact with the head. This material had been changed from Velour to Polyester to increase sound transparency. The surrounding pleather material has not been altered.
