Hatchwel Hatchwell Trimmex Powder 30G

Just had to use this for the first time this week after the dog ripped her claw open and was bleeding everywhere, though I always keep it to hand for emergencies. It did exactly as intended and stopped the bleeding near-instantly. Application was quite difficult on my dog though as she's wriggly and very foot-sensitive (where the injury was), and she seemed more interested in trying to stick her nose in the pot of powder!

This is a must when cutting dogs nails, I’ve recentky completed a grooming course and this is in my first aid pack. Helps stop minor cuts within seconds. Dab this on and will coagulate blood very quickly. Works great if quick is accidentally caught on dogs nails,

Wow! Other vet nurses have suggested using this for bleeding quiks so we tried it... It's fantastic! We ship a clean cotton bud in to get a tiny amount and hold it against the nail. No pain. Immediately stops any bleed and it stays that way! It does not leave any marks on surfaces or hands!!!!! A dream!!!

This stuff is great and works really well. We have used it before on our chickens.It MUST be kept dry as it can 'clog up' ie not a powder, which then makes it difficult to apply.Just bought another one for our hen first aid kit - but hopefully won't need it!

Excellent value for money. Ideal for my working dog as always scrambling through brambles and coming out the other end with scratches on ears and nose.Perfect product to treat the deeper scratches and works really well.Highly recommend

The market for this type of product is very small and Trimmex seem to have the share. As a product it works, however as it is in powder form extremely messy and would prefer the powder to be white in colour as the dark yellow marks white coats. If it isn't used regularly the powder hardens in the pot and in unusable so maybe the packaging can be looked at as I have to replace before the trimmex the pot is half empty and I am a dog groomer, I have even tried storing it in a sealable plastic bag. So go for the smaller tub if purchasing as the majority of it will be wasted.

This was a repeat order for a product that I would not want to be without. I have always trimmed my dogs claws myself to save a vets fee each time. On the odd occasion the quick (which is hard to detect) can get nicked with the clippers and will bleed. The bleeding is instantly stopped with Trimmex with no discomfort. Highly recommended product..

As a home/hobby dog groomer this stuff is magic! I groom a couple of dogs with thick, black claws and this stuff is great, works instantly! Just don't put the pot on the grooming table while you're trimming nails, that'd make an expensive mess.
