Bought these to replace my poorly performing halogen bulbs on my Jaguar s-type. This cannot be done without first removing the front bumper as there is very limited access to the headlight units.After removing the bumper trim i's relativity easy to remove the halogen bulbs but quite awkward to fit the led units having to fiddle with the retaining clip to pass over the fan unit.testing the lights at night I found they needed adjustment as they where very high and once I had done that I was very pleased with the results with a good strong white light much brighter than the halogen units. There was a problem when my mechanic was testing the light pattern and he told me that LED lamps will not pass the MOT as the beam pattern will fail the test. He advised that no way will adjusting them help and I need to replace them with halogen units.In conclusion these LED units will be brighter but will not pass the MOT.

These lights are very bright as a main beam. I tried them in the dipped beam but because the dipped beam is angled down on my car (land rover, lights are high so beam has to point down to avoid dazzling conventional cars) they weren't so effective there. On a conventional car where dipped beam comes out horizontally I imagine they would be very good. They are way way brighter than halogen bulbs and easy to fit. Be aware that there is some bulk at the back of the bulb so make sure you have an inch of space behind your current bulb (IE behind the connector) before ordering.Overall I am staggered how good these are for the price. Can't vouch for longevity yet though.Tip: if they don't work when installed switch the connector poles - they only work one way around unlike conventional bulbs.Tip 2: the installation instructions are really bad. If you have a spring clip holding your bulbs in you need to either slide the metal ring off the new bulb before installation (very stiff) or remove the spring clip completely, insert the bulb and then reinstate the spring clip. This is because of the bulk at the back of the bulb.Update - had these in for 6 months now. Still working perfectly and have been a boon over the dark winter months.

Fitting:These have a large heatsink with small fan attached to the back of the bulb, this means the back is much larger than a standard bulb. Since the heatsink sticks out where the the electrical connector normally goes i had to try and fit the connector at the side of the bulb which was very fiddly and a tight fit in my car. Even after that the twist lock cover was difficult to put back on a required more force and finesse than normal. Overall it took me about 3 times longer than normal to change both bulbs and the airflow to the small fan would have been compromised.Function:Once installed i was very happy with the bulbs they were bright, and seemed to light more of the road than before. They also have that nice crisp white shade that looks modern and clean, best lights i had ever had.Life:The quality of the bulbs appeared to be good but i suspect the small fan would go before the LED's themselves (especially if starved for air). However they only lasted me 2 months as my MOT was due and the garage failed me for the bulbs and replaced them with normal halogens. I never got to speak to the garage as a family member picked up the car, but i assume either the light beam had the wrong pattern or they were simply too bright. The mankey yellow halogen's look so much worse but i have stuck with those since :(

As others have said previously - this 3in1 magnifying glass is a great little product which you can put in your pocket or bag. There are similar versions out there at various different prices, but this one was good value for money when compared to the others.There is a lot written bout the actual magnifying strength of these products - for looking at fountain pen nibs, this provides good magnification and is an ideal product (with 2x lights). The magnification gives me the detail I was looking for - if I wanted greater magnification, I would have purchased another product which would have been more expensive. So, is it 90x magnification? Doubtful.In use, the larger lense gives good visibility/magnification and is easy to use. The next largest is difficult to master and the smallest lense is just too small to use effectively.In sum, I am pleased with this purchase. Yes it is made out of plastic, but for the price it seems to be sturdy enough to withstand normal use and the lenses are protected by the design. Not sure how long the batteries will last - I will update this review if they die quickly.

Slightly disappointed with this product. I was hoping that these bulbs would vastly improve the light output from my headlights... and they do, but very inconsistently. Light shines sporadically and doesn't really focus on any particular area. This is further confirmed from a recent MOT, advising that these bulbs give a POOR light pattern.My headlight type is a projector headlight. I believe they would perform even worse on a reflector headlight
