Although our daughter loves her Fashion Plates Deluxe Set, this GLAMOUR EXPANSION SET is her FAVOURITE! It is easy to tell them apart and not have to search through every plate as these plates are two shades of purple whereas the main kit plates are a light blue/green color. There are four ‘bottom’ plates and six ‘top’ plates which include two full size and four halves. Plenty to choose from to create the ‘princess’ of your choice. Simply place your choices in the tablet, put a piece of paper on top and use the included rubbing crayon to create your outline. If you wish the clothes to be patterned then turn any plate over and choose from a variety of designs.IMPORTANT things to note:>ALL the pieces from the different full-size sets (not the travel set) are interchangeable.>NO paper is included with this extension set. Just take regular A4 and cut it in half.>1 rubbing crayon is included. For safety I put this one in a drawer as we already had one in use.>NO colouring pencils are included but any will work.>A simple, plastic tray holds the plates securely when not in use.>Creating the material patterns is a little tricky as there is no outline like on the main designs.Would we recommend this extension set?
