Delicious Alchemy Gluten and Dairy Free Vanilla Sponge Mix 400 g (Pack of 4)

Having spent a couple of years looking for a good GF sponge mix, we can now stop looking as this Delicious Alchemy mix is wonderful!Supplied as four bags in a cardboard box, each bag will make one cake or about 14 cupcakes. The instructions are clear and simple enough that I could follow them with my 8 and 5 year old children helping and STILL end up with beautifully light and fluffy cakes at the end! I'm not quite sure how they have achieved this, especially as there's a total of only 25 seconds of mixing involved. Honestly, prepping the minimal ingredients took longer...The only slight adjustment to consider is adding a little sugar as the mix is not sweet enough for me (although that's not uncommon with GF mixes).Overall this is a brilliant GF sponge mix which will have pride of place in our GF baking cupboard for the foreseeable future.

Really impressed with this cake mix. I got a pack of 4 vanilla sponge. I used a 9 inch round cake tin and one whole mix per tin. You could divide the mix if using a smaller tin or use the mix for cupcakes...but i was making a large celebration cake. I used flora dairy free margarine. As you can see there was perfect rise with all 4 sponges. Tasted great. Really light and fluffy.

I am so impressed with this cake mix...I have previously tried to make separate GF and dairy free birthday cakes (with varying success!!) but all the guess work and difficulty has gone now I have found this!It is SO simple (takes a few minutes) and gives a good reliable sponge - I used it with the Stork block (vegan). I was able to make one delicious cake instead of different ones.Excellent value for money too, I will definitely be purchasing this from now on.

Arrived quick and packed ok,one bag had slight split,but didn't lose ingredients.Easy to use and gluten free mix ,be having nice sponges for puddings nowValue for money and cheaper than some other well known brands ,would buy again .

I can eat amazing sponge cake afterall . Having allergys all my life I've learnt how to cook with different substitutes and can make lots of different gluten and dairy free goodies but I have never mastered the art of a Victoria sponge which doesn't end up breadlike. But this (although a bit of a cheat) is amazing cakemix and gives a fluffy sponge every time and you can make it dairy free by using a dairy free butter substitute (I use pure sunflower spread). I also sometimes put a few tablespoons of extra strong coffee in it istead of the water and add some walnuts to make tasty coffee and walnut cake.

These are so simple to make. I use the mix to make lots of fairy cakes. They are delicious for gluten free. Yes, I could make them from basic GF ingredients, but this is easier. I tend to use real butter, not dairy free... I actually like the company branding, which makes me like the product a bit more.

This is probably the best free from cake mix we have tried, my daughter is egg, wheat, gluten, soy and milk free. We used flat seed mixture as egg replacement and dairy free spread. Id recommend this to anyone for a quick and easy, tasty cake mix.
