Great book start begin Azure development and Azure management for the team. Chapters start begin with basic intro and go deeper to some advanced concepts too. Happy with my purchase.

really I cannot rate this, it is simple waiste of time and money

I looked at the reviews and doubted if they were really so bad. I can confirm that this book is handy if you have never worked in azure or developed anything before. But if you have some experience in development and azure this is not the book for you.

Great read, the approach of explaining a whole solution in different chapters is good and it gives clear view on how different services can be used in same solution for different needs. Better to have sample code in ASP.NET Core as well.

The Book is really good start for beginners , it covers most of the practical part of Azure.However in the copy i received the snapshots related to AzurePortal were really pathetic and can't make out anything, as to what author is opting in azure portal.

I returned the book for a refund. The description makes the book sound like a complete reference for the multitude of Azure services, but it only covers a handful of them. The book is 195 pages total, with about 150 - 160 with actual content and of those pages probably 80%+ are black & white illustrations. Some of the pages are illustrations only with no text. There is very little actual content in this book, many pages have 1 or 2 paragraphs of text. (Example: there is only 1-page on using Visual Studio for Azure development). This book was a total waste of money for me, and pretty much a joke compared to what I had expected of it. You can find information online with much more detail than this book (do an Internet search for "The Developer's Guide to Azure" from Microsoft, it has much more valuable content and it's free). If you are interested in this book, read the contents of the book CAREFULLY. DO NOT buy it based on the description in the ad.
