It’s brilliant having the two hand controls. Soo I don’t have to boil if my partners cold. I love these blankets I have three of them for spare beds and for my mums and ours. We use it all the time. Quick heat up button is great for taking the chill away. And a lower heat for hours is great in cold cold winters.I do not pack it away in the summer I leave it on the bed to keep it flat. And you do not notice it. I have not had any problems with any of the three that I brought.On the double one I have it’s fitted with a skirt like a fitted sheet and stays in place amazingly, the king size one I have is held in place with elasticated straps on the corners of the mattress which does move from time to time but can be easily pulled back under the mattress.

Love this. We needed to replace as we had gotten a bigger bed and my disabilities need heat to help with pain management. Works really well and the ready for bed feature heats up really fast. Only downside is it does need to be adjusted if you are a person who moves around a lot as it can slip down the bed after a few days. The dual control means I can stay lovely and warm while not cooking my partner

not as warm as the old blanket but heats up quickly on 5 min warm which takes the chill off . importantly for me the connectors don't protrude and dig you in the shoulders like the old deamland blanket. It's OK! perhaps not the best but good enough and with a reasonable guarantee

Absolutely love Dreamland's electric blankets, they last for years and wash and dry well, and are so soft to lie on. I was very excited about the new fitting; our last one was the old model which you tied around the mattress with strings. I do find that this new one with the elastics slips down the bed more easily, but that could be from toddlers jumping on our bed or the fact that we have a deep king size mattress.I love that on freezing cold nights I can preheat my side of the bed, or set it to a gentle warm 1 hour setting that I can snuggle into when reading before going to sleep.It can be expensive but can be on sale, I bought this for a very reasonable price in the Christmas sale.

Before ordering this product, I read the reviews and noted that some people complained that it did not get hot enough for them. I also noted that the same model comes in three different power ratings. I intended not to choose the lowest power but found it impossible to find this information in the advert. When it arrived, I was disappointed to find I had in fact ordered the lowest power version. However, having said all that my wife and I are very happy with this product. It is plenty hot enough for us (we're both in our 70s) and heats up really quickly. The dual controls are very useful. I have no hesitation in recommending this blanket.

I have a single blanket, same model on another bed, so I know they warm up very quickly and efficiently. On the new king size bed one control warms up only slightly. The other is very good, nice and warm.

Bought this blanket to replace previous one which had come to the end of it's life, it was easy to fit to the bed and seems to stay put which is good as my husband is a wriggler in bed!!I don't think it get's quite as warm as the last one on the highest setting but still plenty warm enough and I like the instant pre heat button which is an added feature from the last one, all in all I would recommend.

I have bought this product before before for a single bed use so I thought I'd repurchase again but for a king size bed and double control unit however I was very disappointed with it. One control doesnt change temperature control, so it seems failty. Both don't output the correct temperature for what it says it should! Temperature 5 just feels like I've added an extra pair of socks. I will also add to the point that this was my second purchase as the first order I made was lost so I asked for a refund, so not only I am not satisfied with the product I was disappointed with the Amazon delivery.
