Genuine Glass Replacement Back Apple iPhone 4S Rear Battery Cover Case, Black

These replacement backs are so fragile compared with genuine Apple ones that they shatter while being installed. I eventually bitbthd bullet and took my phone into Apple for repair and the service technician showed me the difference between the Apple one and this one - not only are these slightly the wrong shape but they are significantly thinner too.

Was a bit sceptical at first and I was worried about damaging the phone even further. However because my son had dropped his phone I didn't fancy forking out for a new one, I decided to risk it. I am so glad I did. It is so easy to replace the back (I watched an instruction video on You Tube). It has saved me a fortune! Everything comes with this to do the job, and it has been spot on. Very impressed with the price and the seller.

Two emails sent to seller resulted in a confirmation that it is in fact glass and not plastic . The seller replied to my first email asking for a photo to be sent to them when my enquiry to them was " this feels plastic" "can you confirm its made of glass" as advertised . My 2nd email asked if they could in fact confirm its made of glass as the photo is the same as on their website - A very short reply came back saying 'we do not sell plastic cases only glass'This answered my query. A screwdriver was provided which was excellent to to the job. Fitting is easy - carefully remove the screws and they are tiny but long enough to handle with fingers - just make sure you keep them very safe.Gently lift off the old cover ( make sure you switched your phone off). Discard- Gently ease the new cover in place until it's flush all around with the body and put screws back in - do not over tightenThe result is brilliant and looks absolutely like a new phone - quite impressed - all that is now needed is a protective case to keep it looking New.Overall apart from the email responses not great at first I am satisfied with my purchase

this is exactly the same as my iphone4s back cover, fast delivery, comes with a small magnetic screw driver the only down side was no instructions or picture what to do, i quickly figured out you remove to bottom screws then it just slides off, fitted new case in seconds put screws back and you cant tell it has been replaced, it has the same writing/print as on the original, its made of glass to, worth the price would of cost a fortune in phone shop.

This simply doesn't fit my iPhone 4S. The product number on the back of this cover is identical to the previous iPhone 4S replacement cover I purchased elsewhere, so it is supposed to be the correct one - but the little plastic tabs are not in the correct places - so this isn't fit for purpose. A complete waste of money and time.

I was really worried about this purchase but I had been walking around with a broken phone for a couple of months so I decided to take a chance.To my surprise it arrived very quickly with a full tool kit and usable instructions, it took me about 10 minutes from start to finish, I was being extra careful, This is a fantastic product. A WORD OF ADVICE be careful when removing the screws its easy to strip the head!! Hope I dont need a replacement phone back soon but if I do Ill definatly use this site again.Keith.

Bought one of these, it wouldn't fit properly so as I was pressing the case on, its smashed, I thought this was maybe just my fault with being too rough so I ordered another one (my mistake) I got my friend to fit this on to my phone (who does this as a side job so knows what he is doing) It wouldnt fit and smashed again, Rip Off - DO NOT PURCHASE.

It is a plastic case not glass. The plastic in front of the camera scratched immediately rendering the camera nearly useless. I have read you can take your original camera cover and replace the one that comes with it by heating the glue with a hair dryer and gluing it in place.
