Our 12 year daughter uses this daily. She uses it for; as little seat, a distraction when she’s trying to get ready for bed, to lay in while watching on her tablet, and when she’s try to use pent up energy. Not anything to take stars away from but if you have cats they like it too! Ours use it to scratch & claw at which has frayed some, but still in very good shape.

This rainbow balance board allegedly can hold up to 500 pounds. Why should kids have all the fun?After grabbing this board – for myself! - I researched a bit and found that there are indeed online exercise programs for this type of balance board. I watched a little so that when my board arrived, I had some safety basics down (how to get on and off) and some basic exercises in mind (side to side and front to back). Since I'm old and slow, I knew that I would have to limit my first session to just familiarizing myself with the board anyway.I took it straight to my room, away from kitties who might get harmed. It was immediately apparent that I would have benefited from initially having something to hold onto. Perhaps I should have started near a kitchen counter!The board is certainly large enough for an adult. It rocks well. The felt underneath keeps it from sliding around. But I used it barefoot and found that if I was not careful, my foot would slip a little on the wood. Perhaps wearing yoga socks would be a good idea.It is quite clear that you could get toned using this board. That it will help improve balance is even more clear.The slight slippage was my only issue. Love it!

Ok, so I ordered this balance/wobble board because I wanted to try one with the attached felt bottom. Yes, it makes it so you do not have to worry about using it on hard flooring, but it does pick up every dog hair, dust bunny, etc. The felt bottom WILL get dirty relatively quickly. In addition, mine arrived with a large wrinkle already in the felt, so not sure of the longevity of the rainbow felt backing. Just something to be aware of. The size is standard for this product and is a nice slightly more generous width than a few others on the market; but the edges I found to be a little more smooth and even on another brand of wooden balance board that happened to be delivered to my house the same day as this one. For the price, without the "extra coupon savings," I think the edges should have been finished a bit better. Not that this one is poorly done--it is a very decent wooden balance board that includes a colorful felt backing on the underside; but for the price at this review of $69, I would have liked for the edges to be a little more refined. Given that there are A TON of these wooden balance/wobble boards on Amazon currently, this is a decent choice and one you should be happy with, but I do suggest comparing prices, dimensions and thickness of all those available. The wood used is also a consideration. This one is beech or birch, I believe. Not certain though and description does not state what kind of wood. NOTE: it states weight capacities of 500 lbs and 480 lbs in the production description--I do not consider either of those as accurate, or at least, I would NEVER use this board with those weights.
