Hi-Gain Wireless Outdoor 30-Feet Antenna Extension Cable (HAC30N)

This was my second purchase of this extension cable and like most of the other reviewers I used it to extend the distance between my router and an external antenna (a Hawking). I have a second cable that I used to connect a Grace Digital Internet Radio (which I also LOVE) to an external antenna. In both cases the cable works like a charm! Relocating the external antennas improved my signal strength - I was able to place the antennas in a locations that provided more direct and unobstructed signals. Now my Grace radio has a very strong signal and my other wireless devices work just as well.The price was fair and I'm happy with the service and quality of products that antonline carries. I've bought other things from them as well and I will continue to do so.Highly recommended product and vendor.

Seems to work well, cant really tell since the 9dBi antenna I bought separately doesnt seem to make any difference. Its either this extension or the wifi antenna thats defective but I believe theres nothing to be wrong with the extension here and its super flexible and thin, pliable and easy to hide. Hookup is super easy with it as well. Id say its a nice quality product.

This cable uses a N-type connector rather than a reversed SMA connector.

Work in automotive and had to fab equipment that requires wireless with an antenna mounted on the outside of an environmentally sealed case. This was the perfect solution for the device. A bit fragile however.

The MI424WR-GEN2 provided with my Verizon FIOS account has weird wall-mounting slots in the back, which force you (that is, if you want to use them) to install the device with the antenna upside down. The signal propagation is terrible, worse with the metal studs in my condo.With this cable I was able to quickly relocate the antenna to a better location. Unscrew the antenna, screw-in the cable and the antenna and done. Reception within the condo is much better, there are no more dead spots, and places that already had coverage now show a full signal instead of a lousy bar or two.There's no downside. I definitely recommend this to anyone that has a compatible router sitting in a less than optimal spot.

Didn't do my research before I purchased this item, so, I have to return it, :-(, make sure it's what you need before buying it

The product itself is great, however it did not meet my specific needs since it was the wrong size for the intended purpose.

I was expecting a cable that was relatively the size of a regular t.v. antenna cable.....this is definitely not that. The cable is twice as thick but very flexible unlike a regular t.v. antenna cable. The connectors are HUGE and didn't come with any adapters so I can only go by what others have written here that the Hawking HOA15SIP antennas come with the necessary adapters to make the connections. The cable and adapters look heavy duty and well made. I will finish this review when the other things arrive :-)UPDATE:I forgot to update this review. The antenna DID in fact arrive with all the necessary adapters. So all is good :-)
