Works as described. I really never thought about buying a new cutter until the foil broke. This came with the foil and cutter. The cutter makes a huge difference.

Does Not fit well! Shaver head often pops loose on one side or the other. I expected better from a company such as Braun, but I guess shoddy workmanship is present everywhere.

Perfect replacement parts for the Braun elec. razor. Gives a close shave just like when the razor was brand new.

This is a fake. The shaving is very bad.

I am always unsure as to whether it is worth replacing the foil and cutter rather than just buying a new shaver as the replacement isn't cheap, but it seems such a waste to chuck working equipment and certainly not good for the planet!In fact each time I have replaced the foil & cutter (about every 18 months) I am always amazed at what a difference it makes; all of a sudden it is so easy and quick to get a good shave again.The first time I bought spares online I was very unsure that I was buying the right parts for my razor (a Braun 5614), I have now confirmed that when it says "5000/6000 Series" they fit shavers with model numbers beginning 5... , or 6...

Wow, I have replaced the foil and cutter on my Braun shaver for few years but eventually the foil cracked and I had no choice. The new one makes such a difference, it takes now half of the time and better shaving. I will definitely not wait too long before replacing it agin in the future.

This is the second foil and cutter which I have purchased for my razor. Each time, my initial feelings are that this is an expensive item and that I should be able to buy just the foil at a much lower cost. I probably still feel that way. On the other hand replacing both the foil and the cutter does make the razor feel like it is brand new and the shaving experience definitely improves by replacing both items. I still feel that Braun are exploiting their customer base and they should offer them the choice of buying the foil only, but as this is not an option, I would say to any owner of the Braun razor that if you are happy with the product and the shave that it gives you (which I am), then put aside any feelings you may have of being ripped off and buy this foil and cutter, even if only the foil needs replacing. The razor will feel like new and it will continue to provide you with many hours of satisfactory shaving.

It was the annual moan about having to change the cassette cutter and foil on my Braun Series 3 razor. The decision you arrive at when you have finished shaving and still feel as if you haven't started. Grit your teeth, straighten your back and man up. Order the damn thing. Yes its expensive. But, have that first shave with the new cutter and foil and you are reminded just what you had put up with while delaying the inevitable.I checked the options and ordered off Spares to Go because of the price and reviews. The item arrived 2 days after order, straight, simple replacement and now I have a whole year to contemplate the next renewal. Just do it.

My main electric shaver is a Braun series 5000/6000 which I purchased many years ago and it has never let me down it has a rechargeable battery which has ever needed to be replaced and the only reason it is as good today as it was when I first bought it is the fact that Braun make replacement foils and cutters for it and I only have to replace them about twice a year. These sopare parts are made to the usual very high standard of Braun products..
