I am SO SAD, they sent me a dying, broken computer. :( !!! / REPLACEMENT ARRIVED!-Not without problems but running!
Well, I just got this out of the box, received a couple days ago, plugged it in and it did light up all blue like. It comes with NO user's manual, just a sheet of paper STUFF INSIDE THE CASE that tells you to take the stuffing out of the case before plugging in, shipped in the product box that had a tear inside, no protective outer box so ALLLL your neighbors and thieves can see what's in it. (STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!). Not rocket science there to take the stuffing out and not ship in a MARKED -HELLO WORLD HERE IS A COMPUTER FOR YOU TO STEAL- BOX. I plugged in a brand new monitor-the one I am looking at right now and using on old computer, and the cheapie but colorful keyboard and the CHEAP non-gaming super light paperweight toy mouse it came with. AND.....NOTHING, just a box with blue lights and btw a VERY short (3ft?no more than 4ft) power cord-the power supply is INSIDE. So I did a reset...and NOTHING. Tried the off and on button both top and back a few times. NOTHING. Never seemed to communicate with the monitor at all and then just DIED. The side case of the door didn't fit right, out of the box and there was no fixing it to fit snug, I tried...see the picture (if not here I will be uploading it). The front opened revealing what looked like a space for a cd/dvd drive, but not all the way, once opened, it never opened again, no CD drive visable and was crooked plastic in the slot. Then, I unplugged the new monitor, opting to use my tried and true 6-year-old monitor, never got that far, the keyboard never lit up again and it just seemed to die. I moved the unit to another plug, double checked the plug it had been in, all fine. But no more blue light, just a tiny little gold light deep inside it's guts and that died too . Im thinking this was someone's return,it looked like crapola and pre-abused, the case just scuffed and dirty looking, not that brand new shiney. And of COURSE the REAL insides of this computer looking NOTHING like what is posted on the ad, there are no pretty colored photoshopped wires. (that is almost an insult to customers, just like the multi-colored scam flowers from China) It DOES have good reviews and as I did get a sale price I am going to try a REPLACEMENT. That should be here in a day or two, but right now, just angry, I get some broken piece of...... I am needless to say UPSET but HOPEFUL that the replacement will be nothing like what I received and that the reviews have been correct, that this is a good computer. I WILL UPDATE as soon as new tower arrives.UPDATE: REPLACEMENT ARRIVED TODAY! (please note till I upload, that the pictures you see here are of the FIRST DEFECTIVE ONE) First I want to THANK AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE who IMHO went above and beyond to get this right and make me a happy customer very quickly, and for that, (and some help with other items) they get my Kudos and loyalty, I am TRUELY IMPRESSED with some of theeee best customer support I have EVER received (not just on this item but since this was my big purchase I will sing their praises here). The REPLACEMENT ONE, was like night and day compared to the first one I received. And I was almost too depressed after the first one to even want to open the box! It was wrapped completely different, in a Skytech but different box as well. Hmmmm. Also the keyboard and mouse were completely different. (the one with the red buttons came with this one, I got rainbows with the last one-weeeeee! (yes that's sarcasm) The mouse and keyboard are CHEAP, the mouse looks spray painted and is NOT a real gaming mouse, but it will find a new purpose with my Chromebook or laptop. If you get one of these computers and don't have a gaming mouse, go look in the Naga, Razor or even Logitech (much cheaper but still good) department. The one sold with this computer is JUST A MOUSE, light, not balanced, horrible for gaming, worth maybe 3 bucks on a good day. The keyboard has nothing about it written in English, its ugly, the keys are high but soft, not mechanical and not even anything CLOSE to mechanical feeling like some non-mechanical keyboards are, they feel SLOW and MUSHY, even for just normal typing. So THAT is just...well if its the thought that counts, great, if you want to actually GAME with it...no, its dollar store junk. IT does come with a dongle for wifi,(how hard would it be to have it built in?? I guess hard.) as others have complained about it here, no issue for me, but right now its in the room NEXT to the router, so maybe other's are further away, and I am a believer in hardwiring gaming computers, so not going to cry over that. The tower, well I had my moment of panic when it would not turn on AGAIN. But.....after that heartbeat stopping, I realized that they had REVERSED the on-off switch on this one. LOL, I was almost doing a happy dance when I figured that out! IT DOES have a DVD player in the front, UNLIKE THE FIRST ONE I RECEIVED! AND IT WORKS! Another YAY. It opens and closes, the front and side door, and lines back up perfectly. BUT...and there has to be another but besides the reversed on-off button to the power supply, BUT I did find a paper inside it, (not the packing stuffing) that had I not seen it would have caused damage or the unit to go up in flames. It was a signed off on inspection paper by 4 people by who installed what. SIGH. So if you get one, don't just pull the stuffing out and say, good to go, look for full-sized folded printer paper tucked away in dark corners! . (REALLY!?!? ugh. But yet the mystery piece of paper said it was quality control inspected-yes I am laughing a little writing that.) And the one fan wobbles visibly. another SIGH. Also, it is supposed to have 4 usb ports, the replacement only has 3 Still though, looking on the positive side, the thing is QUIET, almost TOO QUIET. It makes NO SOUND. NONE. But maybe good things come in 3's. The case looks shiny new and not scuffed-dirty like the first one. After a little trouble figuring out the RIGHT HDMI port to use, (you don't use the one MARKED HDMI, you use the slot on the back of the graphics card) monitor was on and the computer was rolling and working and loading with no bloatware or anything. Just off an running. Install times, fantastic. I will note that I looked on this companies website and they are sold out of all most everything, makes me wonder..if the reason I and another person here got bad towers was due to them going out of business?? Sure looking that way. Now I am a gamer and love working in high-end graphics programs but not techie when it comes to do it yourself gaming builds like the younger generation-I have only had a few hours to *play around* but it seems to be a good machine minus its missing usb and reverse on-off switch and fan wobble. I am pretty sure in the next month, due to the troubles, I will take it to my puter gurus and have them drop in that 4th usb and give it a go over and test all that techie stuff. As I got it on prime day at a discount, I can say I am happy with what I paid for it. Would I pay MORE than a sale price after all these troubles, no. Do I need, oooh neato, coolio, sick man, I'm going to go raid mom's liquor cabinet or stash and look at the tricked-out blue lights and go super excited like someone on youtube. NO! Believe it or not ADULTS actually buy gaming computers. And we are well past bells and whistles and want FUNCTION! (And maybe instructions or a guide and list of what's IN IT without having to pull it off the ad!) But the blue is pretty, a night light for gamers, that's obviously for kids trying to impress other kids, I could have lived without them and settled for another usb, or a non-wobbling fan, or an off on switch labeled CORRECTLY. So, I will add pictures, maybe even share a video of the REPLACEMENT when I have time, we shall see how this goes, I will not bump my stars because you would think with a replacement, they would not send wobbly fans, reverse switches or missing usbs. I think it's probably going to be a good solid machine once it has a tune-up with my local computer folks who have put up with me as a gamer and my rigs for many years. And the FPS is great and seems to have a need for speed! So, pluses and minuses, if anything changes drastically with the performance for the good or bad, I will be back to rant, otherwise you can assume it's running! Thank you again to Amazon Customer Support for ALL your help in getting me a replacement FAST and just being great to work with as a customer. Oh and looky looky-they DROPPED the price even more than it was on PRIME DAY (now I feel ripped off)...uh, with all the troubles I had and another had at the same time I purchased, and the price drop, and the official website being out of stock on most all their models, I want to say...beware/caution, it will be a mystery box, either of joy, or trouble, or a mix of both! And if you are ocd about fingerprints, this case will drive you NUTS,

I’d recommend it, Amazon tech support wasn’t great
My dad bought this for me for my birthday bc I’ve been wanting a gaming desktop. Well I have a laptop but haven’t had a desktop in 6 yrs, I didn’t want to buy a $1500 gaming computer but wanted one that will run the popular games. I was so excited to get this desktop, went to plug everything in, and NOTHING, NO POWER, NO LIGHTS, NO SOUNDS.....I wanted to cry!!!Well I called Skytech’s customer service and support numbers which I’m pretty sure went to cellphones but I could be wrong. I left voicemails and emailed the computer, and then called Amazon tech support (that was a joke) and the first guy was trying to be helpful but put me on hold for awhile and Skytech support number was calling me so I had to hang up. I answered the call and the guy was super helpful and we did a ton of troubleshooting, I learned a lot about my computer, but unfortunately he couldn’t even help me get it started, there was just NO power to motherboard. Well since ordering through Amazon he told me to contact them and get a replacement. So calling back amazon tech support, apparently the guy couldn’t find nothing on me calling prior, the second tech support guy was super rude, he kept saying “don’t hang up on me” but had no record of me calling and hanging up bc I was on hold for a long time and got a call from someone who could help me troubleshoot rather then telling me to turn on the power button, so I had to hang up. It was just weird that he kept saying that (3times during our 12 min phone call) and then he put me on hold to look into something and the phone call disconnected. By this point I was beyond annoyed and had to call Amazon tech support for a third time and I was not going to troubleshoot on a computer that wouldn’t turn on, considering I spent about 45 mins troubleshooting with the guy from Skytech already. Well this time I got a woman who was very nice and understood my frustration, she wanted to just refund the charge but I wanted it replaced, I spent a lot of time looking at computers in the $700 price range. We’ll she had to get approval from her manager to refund the desktop, she was fast, had them set up to have it picked up at my house bc I can’t lug this huge box to the store to have returned. That’s such a nice option when you have to return items!Well I got the second one and set it up- and the pretty blue lights from the fans turn on and it turns on and has been running so smoothly since, I’ve been operating it for about 3 1/2 weeks now and I love it! I love that it has space for upgrading internally, I will upgrade the graphics card and other things and it will eventually been a $1500+ desktop when I upgrade everything along the way! I don’t regret buying this computer. It’s an electronic and sometimes they don’t always work and issues might come about but my phone call was returned within an hour and we got it figured out, it sucked having to replace it but my second one works perfect and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.Lol the only complaint was how basic Amazon tech support was, and I’m not sure they could have even done any of the troubleshooting the guy from Skytech supports number done for me.I’d recommend this computer to my friends who are wanting to start out with a gaming desktop. I’ve been playing Battlefield 5, GTA5, Realm Royale, Fortnite, Ark, &Counter strike and I’ve had to mess with a few settings but no problems with it performing the games.

Cool for (Virtual) School
The PC was for my 11yr old to use for; Virtual Learning, Coding, and some gaming. He’s happy with it in terms of school work and coding, not much feedback on gaming, he’s more of a console gamer than PC.
