adidas Confederations Cup Glider Soccer Ball

These were great.I am in Africa right now and I brought ten with me and these balls have given so many smiles to the little towns I passed through.I hope they last.I can attest they held air for two weeks while here and have a great high quality feel.10/10 were great.I even kicked some around and they were perfect and because I'm here filming for another project I played in a couple pick up games with camera I tried to upload some high quality camera work with the ball in action, but I'll probably need to wait to get back to the States because my internet connection is slow.I bought 10 deflated then carried them in my bag and gave them out to local children and brightened their day but you don't need to be in Africa to enjoy this ball you can do it anywhere it's a great ball. I played soccer at a college level and I would have been very happy with this in my prime. Also the package came as expected and was perfect thanks.

This is my fourth soccer ball within two years as I either loose them or their stitches fall apart.Initially, I was skeptical of how this ball will feel/handle on wet grass as it felt quite smooth (almost slippery to hold). But almost after it's first use, I have fully enjoyed it as it holds air well, the outer surface doesn't get rough, works well in rain and on wet grass, feel good to handle and has good control.Quick tip: though it came with air and great packaging (as it's displayed in shops), I thought it needed more air as I felt soft, but I was wrong...and had to take extra air that I pumped out again.

I'm giving this ball 3 stars because the ball we got it IS lopsided.A quick way to tell whether it is lopsided or not is to throw it up in the air right above your head, maybe 15 feet or so. If it spins in a perfect circle, then it's not lopsided, but if it has ANY kind of a wobble to it, it's lopsided. Depending on how severe the wobble would determine HOW lopsided it is.I got the black and yellow ball for my almost 4-year-old, and the ball is as nice looking as it seems in the pictures.It also has an excellent grip on it.The one I got IS lopsided, but not severely. You can't tell by looking at it, but you CAN tell when it's thrown in the air.Here's the thing. Magic Johnson used to dribble the basketball when he was growing up, in the grass! Yes, that's true. Because the ball almost never bounces back precisely where it would on a totally flat surface, dribbling on grass for hours a day would make someone an extremely adept ball handler, i.e., Magic Johnson.So I'm gonna look at this lopsided ball like Magic and his basketball. If this soccer ball goes a little off path, unexpectedly, it's gonna help my son quickly readjust to the new ball path, and I think it will improve his skill, maybe more quickly than it would have otherwise.Having said THAT, lol, I will be looking to get him another ball as well that is not lopsided.Hope this was helpful!

What, too round, for a soccer ball? Yeah, like it's a smooth round ball w/o much indentation on the stitched seams. A normal ball with puffy pentagons and hexagons stitched together has little valleys on the seams. I feel that provides a better and more traditional "feel". I know that what the pros play with now is like some science fiction kinda ball compared to the leather Umbros I grew up with, but still, I like an old school style ball myself. You can't even find a soccer ball made out of actual leather now, it's weird how some sports hang on tradition like football and baseball but soccer has gone all high tech with balls that are better (mainly for prevention of moisture absorption and getting heavier I suppose).It does glow, not that brightly, you're not gonna play in the dark, but it will probably get you an extra 15 minutes of playing time before it's "too dark". Good thing if you're a kid, not so great if you want that kid to come in and take a bath.

This is a great ball for dogs. The exterior isn't hard (like a Jolly ball), and they are able to pick it up and not puncture it with their teeth or claws. It goes without saying that since it's a soccer ball, it is easy to kick far, which the dogs love since it becomes a good chase. I didn't have any of the quality issues some other buyers mentioned in their reviews.

Bought 3 of these as game balls for the U10 age group of our soccer club. They were used in the Spring only for home games at first but then transitioned into practice balls as well (twice a week practices) toward the end of the season. So frankly, their use is not what I would consider heavy.We were hoping to use them as game balls for the Fall season as well, however they are falling apart. They are actually still holding air fine, so are decent practice balls, but the outer shell is peeling at the seams and they're ugly now. Expected a little more out of them based on the amount of use, so will be trying something else for game balls this season.

The Glider II is a great soccer ball. We've had three of them (one stolen): black/green, green/black, and white/black. The style is almost like a pokeball, so that is cool. It is a very distinctively styled ball, not unlike the Brazuca during the 2014 World Cup. The coaches love to use the ball for some reason and everyone knows whose ball it is. It's just cool.Style is important to soccer players, but functionally it is a very good ball. The cover is very sturdy and it takes daily use and abuse, both indoors and out. Because it is pretty unique, it's easy to find the ball after matches, practices, etc.Highly recommended

For about $17, they are a fantastic value. Most balls under $25 are like balloons and don't feel good, but these feel good. I got 6 of them for training, happy with the purchase. The only complaint is that they arrived in a huge box with air packaging...I think a smaller box without packaging would have been fine.

I use this ball solely on turf surfaces for a co-ed league and the ball feels great: easy to handle, very responsive, and it feels good to kick. It is regularly used as the game ball.The material covering the ball is definitely cheap (it peels and the ball "stains" easily) but I would still recommend it, especially for the price.

El balón está muy bonito, el logo de Adidas solo lo trae de un lado del balón, pero luce increíble, en lo personal lo sentí un poquito pesado, pero no afecta en la jugabilidad ni nada, además viene inflado y en su caja lo cual es bueno y llegó antes de la fecha estimada.

Es de buena calidad a comparación de otros balones de precio similar, muy duradero y resistente lo cual es lo que necesitaba. El balón es bastante duro, aunque para mí eso no es malo ya que buscaba un balón para cascarear, resistente y que no se volara fácilmente.

Ball came in a plastic bag, no box. It was deflated in case you’re wondering.The ball itself feels light. Bit of hollowness when you kick it. I didn’t want to pump it up too hard because I didn’t want my son to get hurt, but I made it quite firm. This is something quite similar with other lower end balls. Even though it’s adidas, it’s not their best ball.Good for a little kick around or practice. But better balls exist out there if you’re a more serious player.

First one I received was only 66 CM in circumference which is significantly out of spec for a size 5 ball.Second one was 67 CM and stretched out to 68 cm after being over inflated for a week. Size should be 69-71 CM at proper inflation pressure.Otherwise the ball seems fairly sturdy and I like the high visibility orange. Has already picked up some scuffs after 20 minutes of shooting. I guess this is what I get for buying the cheapest one on amazon.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who loves soccer (football) and we go to the park every weekend and kick a few rounds with the dogs joining in on the fun. It is true to size, weight and reflection. I recommend this ball for any soccer lover

The Tango Glider is a solid soccer ball and does not disappoint with the responsiveness you get from the ball after kicking it. It does not look as fancy as the latest soccer balls Adidas has released, but it does the job all the same. A minor issue with my product was having to to pump it, as I received it deflated. I'm not sure if all the Tango Gliders are shipped this way, but definitely keep a pump nearby if you plan to use this ball immediatly.

Excelente, balón, tiene el tamaño y peso adecuado. Además de que dura bastante bien. Lo recomiendo para cancha de rápido con caucho, en concreto se raspa y termina mas rápido. Lo volvería a comprar.

Great ball for the price! It blew up fine (as long as you have your own inflation pump), and holds it's air well. It did come with a bit of a rubbery smell which is to be expected. My husband complained that it wasn't a "high quality" ball, and hey, it's not FIFA standard but it is perfect for our purpose - kicking the ball around at the park to get some exercise during COVID-19 isolation!

I really like this soccer ball. Is doing the job. The only concern I have, as you can see in the pictures, is that little defect. I don't think it should look like that. Maybe is just this one. I will not return it.

El producto llegó en el tiempo indicado, pero con una presentación muy fea. Estaba un poco sucio y en una bolsa transparente de plástico :/ No creo que sea un producto original de ADIDAS.
