 I have posted a video to demonstrate the primarily limitation of being unable to provide power even on small hills. I am not a big power fan, but was very disappointed with this system because it is so underpowered. I really wanted to like the “iMortor” hub motor because it is such an elegant concept, with the battery, control hub motor and wheel all in one nice package. The engineering design is actually really nice in some respects in that everything fits together well, the charging is easy, and the blue tooth communication of the hub with an app on your phone was a clever idea. Unfortunately as the second video shows, it is not just the battery that is limited, the hub motor itself does not have the capacity to assist much on even small hills. I weigh 110 Kg and the iMortor manual says it has the capacity to handle 180 Kg. But even smaller people than me would not find that this hub motor provides much assistance on inclines and hills - perhaps it would work for someone 60 Kg, but not much more. On the flats and downhill, it certainly can boost speed, but that is not what I need a hub motor for.I JUST LOWERED MY RATING DOWN to a 1 star from a 2 because they now expect me to pay the shipping fee back. Given the false advertising about the performance of this system, they need to pay for return postage.

 Ok after all the bad reviews this item got I still took a chance and purchased it, and you know What? I'm glad I did, it does exactly what its supposed to do, it's a power assist motor with a cruse control. It took maybe a couple of hrs. To get it installed and that's because it went on a schwinn beach cruiser, 26 inch and it fit perfectly and looks good too. I took it for a spin and everything works and works like its supposed to. I had it going about 15 kph for about an hr. On pedal assist on small upgrades works fine I weigh about 200 lbs too, after an hr I still ha half battery power so I decided to just cruise without pedaling and at 15 kph after a half an hr. I still couldn't drain the battery so The total ride was 1.5 hrs. 1hr. Of excersise on pedal assist and 1 half hr. On just cruise no pedaling and still had a little power on the red. I tried to download the app and I did but it's in Chinese and that does me no good but you don't need it everything works without it, had I gotten the app in English I would have givin this Item 5 stars, it's a great power assist and a well made product.....

returned it still waiting for refund from storm store plus I got wacked 77.00 return shipping out of pocket. The battery only lasted 12-14 miles with Me pedaling, no where near the 20 miles stated in full electric mode no pedaling .Very disappointed !

The unit itself seems nice, but was the wrong one for my bike which is a 4.0 fat tire bike. however for a regular 26 in mountain bike I think it will be super it even comes with the battery.

absolute trash, battery was falling apart right out of the box. never connected to bluetooth or even moved. no matter what i did

Beautiful design. Appears top notch as seen in pictures and descript.But, the brake rotor machining is terribly machined. more than 6+mm out of true. Bad Quality control. The brake rotors will not align with the brake caliper. Thus no brakes. This was not even a remotely usable/serviceable item. I returned the item to seller.This seller was very nice about it. Got an immediate credit back upon returning. Originally they wanted me to pay return shipping which was opposing their original return policy, but I got a free UPS shipper label after a week of correspondence. This Item is heavy and in a large box, I did not want to pay $62 for the return shipping on a defective purchase. Who would? I am sure many hundreds of this item were manufactured this poorly. As is the case with Chinese products. Low price point, Great design.... BAD execution in the manufacturing process. I really wanted this E-bike wheel, but it never panned out. It was a tease. It is nice with all hardware needed, included battery charges fast, powerful, Android BT controlled motor for fine tuning...packaged superbly, easy to install on any 26" front wheel bike fork, price was competitive, easy installation plenty of hardware, etc..... but in the end QC limitations at the factory ruined it all. Everything worked except for the extreme Disc brake rotor" out of true" CNC manufacturing issue. I'm sure the seller will be stuck with these for a while. He should return all of them to the Mfr.

I bought this wheel through a seller from amazon and ebay. Came quickly. had a heck of a time trying to install it on my bike due to the disc brake not being able to be removed. I stripped the hex nuts holding it to the wheel. Ended up removing the brake from my bike instead. It has to be perfectly aligned to get it on the front forks. After that, I had issues trying to figure out how to get the app to work.took several hours of finageling it and the app, but I finally got it running.took it on a test spin around the neighborhood. It did good, runs quietly. pedal assist, lvl 1 runs about 7mph or 11 to 13 km. 2nd assist runs about 15 to 17 km and 3rd runs at 20 to 22 km. I switched back and forth between all the speeds and kept it mostly on 2nd for my trial run. Got 36 minutes out of the battery, and 5.6 miles. this was 95% no pedaling on my part.for my first ever experience with an ebike, I'm happy with my purchase overall. I ordered another 2 battery packs to carry with me on my longer trips.
