Good value for the size off the substrate you getLittle annoyed at further measures I have to take while usingI need to bake the amount I need in the oven to kill off any flies as I used it straight up at first and was overwhelmed in few weeks by tiny fliesIt’s the only source I can think of that these flies came from ? As nothing else had changedBut I do like the product just few more steps off prep to do before using it now

Great size product, the tarantula actually walks on it compared to a different one I used.

This substrate has been a great buy it is so easy to keep clean and it also soaks up odour. My tortoise love digging around in this. Well worth the money. Would recommend.

It is discribed as a peat/sand mix and mentions clay but it seems to have quite a bit of cocnut fibre in it. Despite this I would have given it 4 stars because it still seems pretty good but after rehousing one tarantula I had a bunch of tiny splinters that feel like fibreglass or cactus spines (the small, fuzzy ones). Hopefully my tarantulas are more resistant to them than my thumbs.

Not used this before! Just cleaned tortoise terrarium out and used the substrate! Excellent as usually use whole pack but only need half the pack!, Will definitely order again!

Nothing to dislike, does what it says it does , spiders ok with it , would buy again when needed
