Vitamins, not candy
So I suppose I already had an advantage here; my 6yo was under the impression that taking vitamins was a very grown up thing to do (having watched Mommy do it, and having been told Mommy’s vitamins were too powerful and therefore dangerous for her to eat) and was very eager to try these. As she danced around me while I opened the bottle, I looked her in the eyes and said sternly, “Okay, now I have to warn you: THESE ARE NOT CANDY. They are vitamins. They will NOT taste good.” She stood still and stared up at me with sudden concern written all over her face, but she took the gummy bravely and said, “Okay.” Once she chewed it for a while, her cheer returned as she exclaimed gleefully, “You were wrong, Momma! They’re not so bad! They’re actually kind of good!” Sometimes I think it’s more about our confidence and delivery than their tastebuds. But the kids who need vitamins generally expect everything they put in their mouths to taste like Pepsi or nacho cheesier Doritos, so I can see why so many little are having a hard time with these. I grew up like that too and loved Flinstones chewables, so there’s always that. But if you’re looking for something more natural, these are it. Just don’t smell them. Like every other iron-containing vitamin ever, they stink.

Mixed Feelings
Okay. So these smell awful and I think they have a horrible aftertaste. They stay in a big solid ugly glob. But my son loves them! He wants to have more than just 1. They are very soft and easy to chew, which I love. It's really hard to find a chewable multivitamin for toddlers, with iron, that is easy for them to chew. So we love these.

Taste issue
I bought these for my 8 year old son. I tried two before I gave him two. The taste isn’t so bad when you first try it but it does leave a small unpleasant taste afterwards. It is not nearly as bad as some people described though. Very minor issue if you really think of the importance of raising your child’s iron level. A snack or some juice during/afterwards will definitely fix the aftertaste issue. No biggie.

honey?!? yes!!
I love that these are all natural and have a ton of vitamins and real honey!!! My daughter struggles with ADHD, so I try to keep all natural ingredients whenever possible...and these are affordable!! The only downfall, she doesn't like the taste ....they don't smell great either. but she's taking them ...:) and I"m happy with the ingredients.

Absolutely Gross
It has been a long time since I tasted anything quite so gross as these vitamin gummies. The smell is instantly off-putting, and our toddler didn't want anything to do with it. We decided to try them ourselves to see if they were better than they smelled, and they were actually much worse. There is a sugary-sweetness, but it is quickly overpowered by the iron. And long after the sweetness fades, the aftertaste of the iron just keeps going and keeps blooming. We both had to take tums after, because both of us felt a bit queasy within a minute.Maybe it's an efficient way to get iron, but not if you can't bear to put one in your mouth.

1 out 2 two year olds approves -- update, 2 out of 2!
I bought these for my two year old twins because their iron was a bit low at their last checkup and their dr recommended a multi with iron. They dont like taking liquid medicine and there are only a few gummies with iron. I saw lots if reviews saying they taste so bad their kids wont eat them but I trust Zarbees so figured we'd try. These have a very strong vitamin smell! Wow. I havnt even been able to bring myself to try one. But one of my sons loves them! He asks for more so I have to keep gummy snacks (we buy Welch's) to go with the one vitamin gummy. His brother would not eat it. Smelled it and handed it back to me. Put it in his mouth and spit it out. Fed it the dog (she's fine). But to be fair he also doest care for gummy snacks. So 1 out of 2 two year olds recommends these. 50/50, I say if your kiddo needs extra iron they're worth a try.Update: It took over a week of offering this daily but my other son came around on these and now also asks for his gummies too. Yay!

Great vitamin but flavor is a little different.
I love that these vitamins pretty much have everything my toddlers need. However they didn’t work for us. Neither of mine would eat them. The iron flavor is stout and they are covered with a sweet sugar like substance. Great value just couldn’t get them to eat them.

Kidd’s love em
My grade schooler had low iron, so we spent a good amount of time looking for an iron supplement that wasn’t a) totally disgusting b) filled with crap and c) actually had a decent amount of iron. This one fit the bill. My kids think they’re amazing. As an adult who has lost her childish ability to value all sugary candy, I acknowledge that they have that funky iron-y taste, but this is totally lost on my kids.
