Guardian Gear 3mm Choke-Chain Dog Collar, 22"

My GSD Busted Out of this 3mm Choker! I couldn't believe it. This was her 3rd one we bought to fit her as she grew and was happy with these chokers all along but never expected her to bust it chasing a critter one night. Maybe there 4mm would do the trick maybe it was a fluke it broke but my GDS is only 14 months old and a trim 70 lbs.So we wanted to play it safe we bought another brand a 6mm, this choker will tow a car. Its a bit bling bling but it's keeping my baby girl safe and thats all that matter.

They just don't make thinks like they used to......As a kid we always owned dogs and we used the same collar for 25 years. The dogs wore out before the collar did. These days, everything is made to be disposable including this chain. The "metal" is rather thin which I noticed when I removed it from the packing material. The collar was much lighter than I expected it to be but it fits on my dog and does the job for now But I suspect that I will be replacing it in a year or two.

Chain looks nice and sturdy, but my dog broke it in half after tugging hard on it. He saw a cat, and decided to try and pull/break free. One of the collar chain links twisted open, and he got loose. Kudos to Amazon for handling the product refund most excellently and hassle-free!

It is what it is, a chain to restrain !!!!!! Once my dogs got used to it, it made walks more "human friendly" Boxers are athletic walkers, and without some restraint....they walk YOU. Good chain for the money. Just make sure you measure the dogs neck.....too small a chain is cruelty.!!!!

this is any regular choke chain. it tightens when the dog tries to walk away from you and loosens when he comes back. My only complain is that the 3mm 22" is a TAD bit small for our 60lb lab. It wont fit anymore if he grows any bigger, and I'm sure he will.

A very good collar for training. A little bit light (which is not bad), yet seems quite strong so far and very reliable. It does the job for my very strong & hyper Rottie while training and even for walks. Only shortfall is that it is a little bit tight for bigger dogs when trying to pass it through the dog's head - yet this is my bad, the size is clear 22'. It is a classic choke chain that works as expected, it slides tight well on the dog’s neck. Recommended!

Although some reviews say this chain is somewhat fragile, I have used it on my 100 pound German Shepherd with no problems. It is lighter than chains I have used in the past.

It's durable, it has'nt broken, it works like all the other chains,the only thing is like all chains like this,it works on some dogs,but does'nt on others.It fit my 60 lb english bulldog and worked just fine.i gave it a five star because it's like something you will get a petsmart,but cheaper.There is'nt really anything I can say about it besides it did'nt break.Other than that, it's self explainatory how it works.
