Lovely, strong vanilla flavour

I had a friend who loves rum and spiced in particular. She had just had a Kraken and said that Bayou was much better. The original American spirit.

A tasty and affordable rum
I first tried this from Asda and liked it, so when I see it on special here and am getting a little low (this among many other rums in the collection), I never think twice about it. Its a sweet rum that has vanilla and other spices running through it..slightly clovey, but not overpowering and is easy to drink with some coke and ice!
