This is perfect for our camper trailer. It gives just enough extra counter space. It can hold bowls and items needed for cooking or washing dishes or setting drinks on it. I would only use it as a cutting board if the place you screw it into is sturdy. If it's a flimsy wall, I would add support to it. Definitely recommend this board.

Shipping and Assembly: The countertop arrived quickly with Amazon Prime and packaged carefully.As far as assembly there were no instructions included but I did remember that there was a video on Amazon showing how to attach this under the products pictures.There are 6 screws to install, 4 on top hinge and 2 on the folding arm.Note: It is much easier to install this with 2 people when installing unfortunately there was only myself and I had to use my head to prop up the countertop and try to keep it even and put in the screws underneath.Pros:• Nice wood and color matched my bar• Gives you a nice solid extra 12” of space• Coated for protection• Easy to assemble once you know how, great instructions on Amazon videoCons:• I think all these extensions are overpriced as a whole but they are all around the same price point• When extension is closed it does not fold flat sticks out approx. 3-4 inches. Would have liked it to close flat• Nice space but remember only 12” I put a cheese and cracker board on it• Be careful with the extension arm in assembling it snaps closed fast I got my finger pinched in it a couple of timesConclusionI like the Camco 43421 Oak Accents Countertop Extension for the purpose I am using it for. It is attractive, sturdy and serves the purpose. There is not much competition for its size unless you want to make one but then you wouldn’t be shopping on Amazon. I would recommend this product to my family and friends

This is a great board. I purchased this for a gift. The recipient was going to install the board, only to discover the mounting hardware is missing. The period of return is over; and I no longer see the item on the website.

Quality made. Needed to really focus on instructions bc they are a bit busy. I attempted to move my bracket around in an attempt to get to lay flat when in the down position. I have a decorative recessed area that might be causing this. With some common sense adjustments bc of this still didn't pay first. Again it could be bc of the recessed area but I would buy it again. The trade-off of a slightly jutting out extension table is worth the extra counter space

There is nothing wrong with the shelf. But be aware to measure the underside where you plan to mount the shelf and the depth of the overhang. We discovered after we took the item out of the package that there was a 6 inch overhang that eliminated half of the use of the add on shelf.. Not much use in mounting it. Also be aware you will need to add some backing inside of most rv cabinets because the material isn’t strong enough to support any weight.

Seems well made and reasonably priced. The issue I had was my counter top is made from an mdf type of material that can't support the counter extension. When I attached the extension the edge of the counter broke off. This was an installation failure.

Little hard to install because u have to get it just right but nice 👌 product.

I love this item and it’s great for adding extra space for the counter top. My only complaint is it projects about 4” out rather than lying flat when down. Since there’s not a lot of walking space in the camper you have to becareful not to run into it. Overall it’s a value for the money, well made and sturdy.

This is a great nice little extension for my RV, and was simple and easy to install!

haven't installed yet so cant really review except for the quality is a lot better than what I expected including the mounting hardware
