Qmadix S Series Case for Motorola Moto X 1st Gen - Retail Packaging - Black

This is a wonderful case but has one big issue: It's slippery as hell.Buttons! I love the buttons on this case. No rattling or moving parts, just hard buttons attached to the inner lining directly in contact with the actual phone buttons. These things click with no effort when you need them, and not when you don't. Hard to improve.The hard outer shell does an outstanding job of protecting the phone but its smooth surface offers no grip for slippery fingers. The rear surface is smooth plastic that feels great and is contoured perfectly around the wonderfully designed curves of the phone, but its lack of any texture means that holding the case requires attention and a sure grip on its edges. They are slippery too, but the contours of the molding make up for it to provide a fairly secure anchor point.The inner lining has room for improvement. I would have loved to see a more shock absorbing silicone layer instead of the thin soft plastic they went with. The inner lining is very well shaped and an almost perfect fit around the phone, which makes me feel better about the lack of the reassuring give of silicone (though it would be nicer). The soft plastic continues up the sides of the case and makes a nice bead along the edge - perfect for protecting corners from impact and keeping the case nice and snug.One other gripe I have is that the boundary between the red and black of case isn't as nearly as impeccable as the real version. My unit has slight imperfections around the ports on the top of the phone, which i have to take points away for.

When purchasing something online, I always take care to read the customer reviews before. And I looked at a lot of phone cases for my Moto X before settling on this one. I don't care for flashy cases or artfully designed, so check there. I didn't want a thin plastic case nor a rubber one that made the phone lose its nice, slightly curved shape. This Qmadix series doesn't make it bulky and it is shaped precisely to the phone. I was also worried that it would be slippery--the phone alone is already. This actually gives me better grip! There's rubber lining around the sides and elevated for the volume and power controls. With my screen protector and this case, I'm very happy and confident my awesome new Moto X is in good, protective hands (when it isn't in my own).P.S.: I should tell you, if you are a prime member, this item was immediately shipped even though it doesn't qualify for prime. I ordered on a Sunday with standard shipping and it came the first day in its expected range (Thursday). Not too bad!

I like this case. I am a fan of the red. The back is a little slippery but the sides of the phone have enough grip so I don't feel it will slip out of my hand. Definitely not going to get away with texting with this case on and the phone sitting on a table as the phone will move. This case isn't as thick as I was expecting and that's a great thing. I feel as if there is enough protection to prevent the phone from being damaged. I had an Otter Box Commuter case previously and it felt good as well but this case is a tad thinner than that one and feels better despite the slick back. I would recommend this case to anyone that isn't a fan of the thicker cases out there.

This case is excellent. It's slim enough to add very little bulk to the phone. I wanted something that made the buttons extremely easy to feel with my fingers. These are amazing. They aren't too hard to push, very pronounced, yet curved in just the right way to be extremely comfortable. I don't know how many other phones this company makes cases for, but I will look to buy another from them any day. I can't say enough positive things about this phone. The only drawback is that there is no attention paid to the indentation on the back of the Moto X where the Motorola logo resides. This case is excellent though, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone - in fact I have. To everyone I know of who's gotten a Moto X. Please get this case!

Not what I expected. I was expecting the back of this case to be softer and have grip, but it's hard plastic and slippery. The case does seem to provide decent protection and it does have a border raised edge on the front for screen protection. I ended up returning it for the following reasons: (1) hard and non-grip back (2) cheap looking shiny sides (3) slightly bulky. I ended up getting the black Diztronic case. Its not bulky at all, it has a soft and grippy back, very good looking case, no shine on the case except for thin border edge on the front. Very good looking case which seems to provide good protection. I really like it.

PROS: Vibrant color, solid build, lightweight, snug fit, power and volume buttons still work as intendedCONS: Slippery plastic edges, the lip around the screen could be taller (the screen is barely raised from the surface when placed face down), the lip around the screen does not cover the edge of the phone around the screen (it still fits well but dust and dirt get stuck)

I really like this case. Based on my previous experience with a Qmadix case for my Droid RAZR, I expect this one to hold up well and provide excellent protection for my Moto X. The one thing that keeps me from rating it as 5 stars is that it lacks a holster. Add a holster and the combination would be ideal.

This is a great case, I'd give it 5 stars if the back had some kind of grip. When I'm driving and put it on my lap it slides off my lap every time. Other then that, keeps my phone protected.

Delgado pero se ve que lo protegerá bien, mantiene la curvatura del teléfono, excelente calidad de los botones, me llegó en menos de 3 dias, sólo creó que le faltó un poco más de amortiguación en las esquinas.
