MUXXN Women's 50s 60s Vintage Sexy V-Neck Swing Dress

This dress fit as expected, is a great color, and really cute! There was one VERY significant downside however. The zipper. The SECOND time wearing this dress, when at my company Christmas party, sitting at a table in the very middle of a room of 1,000+ people, I stretched my back a tiny bit and the entire zipper split open. Just top to bottom. It was really horrible. Fortunately a coworker was able to get my coat and I went to the bathroom, wrangled the zipper down, and zipped the dress back up. I was really careful the rest of the night. Afterwards I washed the dress, and again the zipper just came apart in the wash. So just know the zipper on this dress is very poor quality. I loved this dress so much however that I bought a new zipper, took it to a seamstress, and had the zipper replaced. I think doing that was still cost effective for how much I love this dress relative to some more expensive dresses I've gotten. All told, I've spent about $60 including the initial cost of the dress. Keep that actual price in mind when purchasing this dress for it's very good initial price. I really do love this dress though!

This dress was beautiful! The material is sturdy and does not really wrinkle. I wore it to a wedding, and even after sitting for a 2 hour car ride and then the ceremony, it didn't bunch up and look messy. The waist is really flattering and the bottom half is a nice wide skirt. I have a petticoat that I decided not to wear under it because it made the dress poof out a little too much. I'm smaller chested (38B) so the top was a bit big, but the boob area has a little lip of fabric that i was able to tuck into my bra so my bra didn't peek out.I usually wear a size 12/14 and I ordered an XL. The body fit perfectly. I'm 5'4 and it came down to about 4 inches below my knees. With heels, the length was very classy and vintage. I wish this dress came in more toned-down colors, because I would probably buy every one! It's definitely a dress that you can glam up or dress down. I plan on wearing it under a cardigan with boots this fall/winter.

I am so in love with this style and plan to buy more.One thing that I have noticed when reading reviews on clothing, is that people go by the size of whatever they have hanging up in the closet, or to use the sizing chart provided by Amazon. When ordering clothes online it is best to know your actual measurements using a tape measure and to follow the size chart from the manufacturer (which is usually posted as a picture along with the picture of the item).

This dress is awesome. I am 5'3, 110 lbs, and the small fit perfectly. It fit snugly around my waist and yet has a bit of stretch. I love the skirt part. I'm really small on top and in the middle but have relatively wide hips, and this dress covered that and just looked so nice. I love the material. It's kind of heavy yet stretchy. The only problem I had was in the bust area, because I'm super small there...I had to pin the dress to my bra, but it still kept slipping and my bra would show in the front (I wore it to a wedding and had to adjust it the whole time). But if you're not tiny in the chest area, it probably wouldn't be an issue. I think if I wear it again, I'll sew something in for more coverage. But overall, love, love, love this dress. And I am super picky and therefore never wear dresses. I ordered the navy blue and it's a very nice color.

I was so excited about this dress, I bought this for a costume wedding I was attending as rockabilly Poison Ivy and it was going to be perfect. Originally I bought the XL but it was slightly too big so I exchanged it for the L and since the wedding was that weekend I purposely held onto the XL until I got and tried on the L, just in case the L didn't come in time or was too small. I got the large and it fit perfectly, I was so happy with the dress, it looked fantastic! I sent back the XL on the friday before the saturday wedding because I thought the large was perfect. Saturday comes around and I have spent 2 hours on my pin up hair and make up (because holy crap vintage hair is hard!) and I have cut it so close on the timing that I have 5 minutes to put on the dress and run out the door. Imagine my incredible frustration when this seemingly perfect dress FALLS APART when I go to put it on! The zipper came completely undone! I couldn't even MacGuyver it to zip up part of the way, the zipper was beyond saving. I had no back up dress (since I had sent the other one back THE DAY BEFORE) and the only other costume I had was a ren faire costume which would have looked ridiculous with my hair and make up. To make matters worse I only had one safety pin in my entire house for some reason so I had to have my cousin fasten the one safety pin strategically to keep the dress from falling off and I had to wear my leather jacket covering the rest of my completely open back the entire night! So angry and upset with my experience with this dress!

Then, I ordered it again (just a size down) and that was still too big! Not to mention, the fabric was a bit thin and papery, which made it feel like it was cheaply made. Overall, I'm rather disappointed and am in the process of returning it.
