Ebac Free Star Dehumidifier (10283GR-US)

It is getting a lot of use keeping my residential basement dry during 3 seasons after purchasing it Nov 15, 2015. It has a heavy duty pump and large hose with plenty of length to evacuate the water into a laundry tub.2 complaints: 1) The product description it has a washable inlet filter. No! It came with a disposable Vokes filter, with a cardboard frame, and an odd size measured in mm which could not be found anywhere, and did not lend itself to cutting disposable ones found locally. It was not obvious how to order on the Vokes website. Two communications with EBACUSA did not produce any response where or how to buy a replacement or a washable one (though they did respond to a broken foot /adjustable tilt guide (my fault it broke) which they shipped no charge, but also told me I could order filters from them which they did not respond to). So, I spent $73.00 to buy a Boair Electrostatic Washable Ac Furnace Filter, cut to a customized size slightly larger than the disposable Vokes filter so it fit a little better. 2) the noise from the basement was a little more than I could tolerate, so I ordered an air duct silencer and duct taped it to the air outlet and it worked to dampen the noise
