Working great
I am a weather nut and I used other systems for many years. This one was easy to set up and seems very accurate. Super easy to integrate with Weatherunderground and there own software is pretty good also. if the system holds up it is going to be an awesome deal for the price. I am excited to many years with this system. i have it on my vacation home in Texas and now i can see the actual weather at my place out here in California. i mounted it on an old Directv mount and it worked great. So if you have one on your house that you are not using give it a try.

So far so good!
Only had this a few days, but first impressions are very positive. Build quality is better than I expected for a unit priced at this level, and so far the accuracy appears to be very good compared to other stations near by.A bit of background: I own an expensive 10 yr old Davis Vantage Vue at another home. That station suffers afternoon temperature creep on sunny calm days. I was concerned that a 'cheap' solution would suffer worse or be built very poorly and not last long. I also wanted a station that would allow me to report to servers with 'Rapid Fire', something my Vantage Vue with Davis WeatherlinkIP wont do (15 min update fixed by Davis Servers) unless I invest even more money for an always on computer and report directly. What is worse, now Davis wants to charge me to retrieve my data off their server which is my only option as I choose the WeatherlinkIP path a decade ago.So, I was looking for a low cost solution for this home with direct connect to the weather servers I use (WU & WeatherCloud), accurate, and one where I can get to my data without more expense. I am happy to report this station is fitting that need very nicely. I will add that the display is a bit old school, but with my data online, the display is more of a secondary access point from me. I actually appreciate that I didn't have to pay a lot more for a fancy display.

A decent unit for the money.
Have only had it for a few weeks, but is working good. The manual isn't very clear or doesn't describe a few of the symbols on the display. Much of the manual describes the various web publishing processes, more attention to the display icons would help. Connecting to internet host website was easy. One thing I noticed was when the rain collector gets snow accumulated, it takes several hours of above freezing temperatures to thaw and drain. I noticed other brand weather stations were displaying precipitation accumulation hours before this unit after a overnight snow then thaw the next day. This isn't a complaint, but just a observation I made. The only calibration setting I made was the barometric pressure, which took .9 inHg adjustment and now is always within .02 inHg of local airport. Calibration is easily accomplished through the interface program. It looks like every setting can have the calibration adjusted except the solar power and the UV numbers. Solar power indication is impressive, values change slightly with each update as Sun rises then sets. Might update this review after several months or sooner if any issues arise.

The weather station does its job. Its not easy to set up but does the job well.
I like that I can check the weather conditions without having to look it up. I like being a novice weather geek. I really wanted the weather station for hurricane season. I'm still learning how to use it. Connecting to the weather service is not easy. The set up was easy. But I had trouble connecting to the internet and wifi.

Horrible quality ... just terrible
I set this unit up on a table as the manual recommends and it worked fine for about a day. After that the sensor unit (outdoor portion) simply stopped sending data to the indoor display. It didn't matter how or where I positioned the two units relative to each other, and changing to known good batteries didn't make any difference. A reset using a paper clip is supposed to result in the underside LED being on for four seconds followed by a blink every sixteen seconds, but the LED just stays on forever. I even put the sensor unit in the dark for a day to make sure the internal storage depleted for a full reset but that didn't help either. The unit simply failed after one day indoors unattended. In addition, the display unit is unreadable when viewed straight on, and the backlight switch has no effect at all in any position. Even with the wallwart power supply the display has to be viewed from above at roughly a 45 degree angle to optimize the contrast. I could live with that if the sensor unit functioned properly, but it doesn't. With quality this bad I'd never buy from this manufacturer again.

Connects to servers in China
If the wifi feature is important to you, buyer beware this has all kinds of security issues. It cannot be used on an isolated IoT network; it requires connections to Baidu in China as well as servers in Taiwan to operate. It must be configured from one of two third party phone apps, which are also difficult to assess from a security perspective. Shame, because it can be configured to log to a local server via the ecowitt protocol. If you don't care about any of that stuff... it's fine. The set screw the unit came with for the wind vane was too short on mine though. Had to get one that fit from McMaster Carr.

Great station
I have had a few weather stations and when my last one stopped working, I looked on Amazon and found this little gem. It works very nice. I am very happy with it. Much nicer than my last station. I just mounted it on a white PVC pipe I buried in the ground a few feet. My screen is only like 40 feet away and works with no problem at all. I recommend it for someone who likes to tinker around with things like this. It is very accurate in every way. It would be nice if the read out was always on, and is sometimes a little hard to read, but I am fine with it.

Warrenty
After I installed my unit, the wind speed stopped working. I got in touch with the manufacturer and even though I had purchased it from a 3rd party vendor off of Amazon, they have sent me a replacement circuit board. Great service.David
