Specs are a lie
I attached a photo of the actual specs in the provided manual. This is advertised as holding up to 330lbs, multiple times. Yet the book says it is good to 100kg = 220lbs. That's 110lbs less than advertised...a very significant difference!Slope is another big one. They brag about having a 30degree slope tolerance and how other products only do 15 degrees. Pop open the book and imagine that, 15 degrees.Max speed. Advertised as 17km/h, but the book says it only does 12kmh. So it only does 70% of the rated speed. Some good news is it is advertised as a 36v / 2Ah battery, but specs show it is 36V / 4Ah (144WH). The manual does not state the motor rating, so I can't say whether it is a 350x2 or not.Now let's talk about the unit itself. Packaged well enough and comes with US and Euro power adapters. It is a much more sturdy design than the first one I bought a couple of days ago, which also lied about its specs in both the Amazon listing and in its book...ended up being a 165lb rated item and my 200lbs cracked it (advertised as 260lbs and book said 200, yet all other similar units were 165lb rated). The headlight does not function. It is supposed to come on when the light sensor senses dark. I put it in a pitch-black room and it still wouldn't turn on. The taillights do come on and blink like turn signals when not going straight. This unit does NOT rotate in the middle like most of the other units out there. I believe it is a more sturdy design but I'm not sure if the other types are easier/better to ride as a result, as this is the first one we have been able to ride.It is easy to ride. Powered it on and off we went. Learning curve from hopping on to riding around the house was less than a minute for me and my daughter (bought it for my daughter). Mind you, we both wake surf all summer and are 1st-degree black belts in Taekwondo, so our balance is probably better than average - your mileage may vary. Why I deducted 3 stars? One for the faulty headlight, which I haven't determined what I will do about it yet and may adjust the rating depending on the resolution to the problem. The other two are for false advertising, a pet peeve of mine.We have had it for less than an hour. I'm thinking we may keep it but will update.Update 1/25/20: Our daughter loves this thing, but we have had it power off while still having one green dot for the charge level while riding it, which is dangerous. It seems you can't trust it for anything under 2 green dots. I'm currently shopping for a replacement and will be sending this back.

Great For A Kid
I bought this for an 8 year old who had been begging for a hoverboard. The price was right and a friend of hers had one. Great color, heavy sturdy weight and she easily maneuvers around on it. We were already aware that when the charge runs out it will suddenly stop so she is good about watching the green power lights. There are others out there that are way more expensive but this one goes plenty fast for a kid. Make sure to use a helmet with it. We had to wait awhile do to all that is going on right now, but since receiving it the board has been in use every day and we couldn't be happier with this purchase. Yes. I would recommend it.

No frills hoverboard
Our daughter loved this at first. It is a no frills hoverboard. She has since moved on. One big concern is that when the battery is dead it just shuts down with no warning. As I said no frills. Also it seems the battery doesnβt hold up as well as it should.

Really fun ride for the money
This board is great. The specifications say it can support 330 pounds, and it handles 260 with no problem, so that could be realistic. It's fairly intuitive, nimble, and quick (if desired).I do hope that later versions can improve the logic/firmware so that it is safer for stepping onto or off of the board - especially when only one foot is sensed. After some practice, that issue can mostly be overcome. Either way, it's probably best to wear protective gear.

Very Sturdy
This is an awesome hoverboard! Its is a very sturdy, well built machine. Everyone gave it a try at Christmas this year, including myself and I weigh 220lbs. My 9 year old daughter absolutely loves it. No Problems so far. I'm very impressed with it, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Best Christmas gift ever!
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 9 year old grandson. He LOVES it! He played with it all day. Very well put together. The only "down" side was we could not find a weight limit anywhere. This was important because the adults wanted to try it as well. ππ

Flawed
Would give this 5 stars except that when the battery runs out, it stops ABRUPTLY! We have had more than one injury because of this. If they could correct that, we would give it 5 stars. Lots of fun otherwise
