About 3M Scotchlite Material Whether you're working or playing, 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material helps you to be seen at dawn, dusk, or night, in all weather conditions. It uses a technology known as retroreflection, which helps the eye perceive light in low-light conditions. In more scientific terms, retroreflection occurs when light rays are returned in the direction from which they came. A large amount of reflected light is returned directly to the original light source, such as a cars headlights. Since very little light is scattered when the light is returned, retroreflective materials appear brightest to an observer located near the original light source. Retroreflection   Scattered Reflection About the Sugoi Comfort System As every athletes body requires different layering for ultimate comfort, protection, and performance, Sugoi has taken a back-to-basics approach with the Sugoi Comfort System. This system works from your skin to the outer surface of your apparel, and provides an optimal climate for your body, balanced temperature regulation, maximum comfort, and performance that can be personalized for each individual. Manufacturer's Warranty Sugoi products will be covered for one year from the proof-of-purchase date for manufacturing defects. Please be aware that the following claims are not subject to warranty: Damage caused by general wear against abrasive surfaces, such as Velcro, bag strapping, rough seams, or a rip on the saddle Rips, burns, tears, and damages due to accidents, improper care, misuse, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over time About Sugoi For years, hardcore athletes have known that Sugoi makes some of the most hard-working apparel in endurance sports. For over 20 years, the company has been working diligently to make sure it lives up to its name. Sugoi's journey began when David Hollands, a bicycle racer, and Carol Prantner, a fashion student, founded the company in 1987. The upstart originated as a basement operation in the outdoor playground of Vancouver, British Columbia. The initial product consisted merely of bike shorts, made to address the short supply of genuine technical cycling apparel, which all came from Japan or Europe at the time. These humble shorts contained the genesis of the original Sugoi ethic of innovation and excellence, and soon enough other competitors wanted the shorts too. Sugoi quickly earned an almost cult following among athletes seeking the best-performing, best-looking apparel available. Twenty years hasn't changed Sugoi's relentless focus on making workouts a great experience, but the company has certainly changed. Today, it has more than 250 employees. Its expansive catalogs now offer hundreds of technical garments and accessories, including underlayers, jackets, shorts, swimsuits, socks, and hats. With distribution throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, Sugoi is truly an international brand. Ironman winners, world champions, and Olympians--they've all worn Sugoi, and they continually provide the company with flattering feedback on its range of apparel. The people at Sugoi admit that they revel in such praise from the ranks of the elite, but they've always known their success derives from recognizing and serving the needs of their core customer: the committed, everyday athlete.

great pants
these were a deal (size medium only for $47, retail = $140), they aren't a super tight fit but very snug on me, I'm 5'9"/150 with 30 in inseam, the leg length can fit up to 32 inch, the fabric is not the same as my other standard tights, these are very windproof and good to the low 40's temp, add knee warmers inside and they are very comfortable below 40, they're not totally waterproof but still warm when wet, I'm using these as my wet/cold weather commuter tights instead of rain pants (I can't stand rain pants), I'm impressed with the quality, thinking about a second pair. After wearing these for 3 months of commuting, the only blemishes I've experienced are 1) some stitching came out of the waist band, 2) the waist band is tight to where I don't even cinch up the drawstring, not a problem for me, but some might find it too tight for size medium, 3) the area of the pants that makes contact with the seat is pilling up but hasn't worn through, I'm concerned that the material here is not tough enough to last, we'll see

Legs stay nice and warm
I bought these after having worn some cheap running tights over my cycling shorts when the temperatures dropped below 55 degrees. I live in northern California and there are times when the temperature gets into the 40's and my big box store tights weren't getting the job done. These Sugoi tights worked great on a couple of rides when the temperature was in the 40's and low 50's. I did wear them on a ride when the temperature got up over 55 and they were a bit too warm. I'm 5'9" and weigh about 165 and the medium fit well. They are snug but not uncomfortably so. A nice pair of cycling tights that won't break the bank.

Excellent!
Purchased these because I was very impressed with the Firewall 220 jacket. Have worn them in temperatures as low as 26 F and as high as 46 F and stayed warm without sweating. They are sensitive to abrasion and so are probably not appropriate for off-road riding where dirt might get on the areas that rub the saddle, but for road riding I have found them to be fantastic.

Firewall 220 tights
Very impressed with these tights! Took them out in pelting rain and 5degree temp and stayed toasty warm and very nearly dry. Wicking was great.Only thing is that they do weigh more than normal tights so felt a little heavy at first, but soon adjusted.Sugoi Men's Firewall 220 Tight
