Kel-Gar Snug-Tub - Ocean Friends

My 6 month old had outgrown his infant bathtub and so I searched for something that would allow him to sit and play safely. I looked at bath seats and other tubs, but liked this one. We've kept it inflated since we got it (two months ago) and have not had a problem. It has a handy drain and a suction cup to hang it on the wall in between baths. It did have that strong plastic smell at first (like all blow up toys/pools), but I just aired it out for a few days before using it. My little guy loves it and I love not having to worry about the hard sides of the tub. Also not having to fill up the whole tub saves on the water bill!

Not as pictured...they must have found the tiniest of babies for the pictures because it is way smaller in the seating area then it looks in these pictures. My grandson is very small, only in the 20% for his age and there is just enough room for him to sit in the well area. His infant tub had more room.The description and he pictures give the impression this will fit inside your bathtub and allow play room in the sitting well, but that is not accurate at all. We returned ours.

Tub fits well in master bath tub, we are happy with the wider back. We feel like baby is more secure in this tub and seems to enjoy it. Complaint - tub had a strong rubber/chemical smell when it came out of the package, you could smell it throughout the entire house. We aired it out for 2 days and sprayed off with water before using with baby

This tub worked great and saved a lot of water for us, however when it first arrived I had to leave it outside for 2+ weeks to lose the hash, chemical smell.

This tub has a very strong chemical smell and contains PVC, I would not allow my baby to sit in this tub. Adorable but had to return.

I bought this product for one week use only but my son loves it so I am using it after one week. Very convenient.

The idea behind the tub is a good one. However, this product is not well made, it didn't even last through one bath. Leaks in multiple places.

These tubs are great for bigger little ones. My son was a a very large infant and toddler. He is now 35lbs and still in this tub. They are easy to use - I put mine in the bath and fill it and use it there. Easy to clean. And my child loves splashing about it in because its so soft and comfy. Easy to empty and clean. I wouldn't use any other tub - and I went though several before I found this one.
