Naturalizer Women's Harbor Riding Boot

I've been looking for some black dress boots for a while and when I saw these on sale, I thought I'd give them a try. They are very simple boots which is what I was looking for to wear with dresses and skirts. The shaft has some elastic sewn in to allow for some stretch which will be needed by some as I tend to have slender calves. They fit a little large toe to heel, but they are really narrow across the widest part of your foot. I'm hoping they stretch some. If' I'd ordered the larger size, they would have been way too long in length. Also the shaft is a little high. I'm 5'7' so they fit me perfectly but if you're a little shorter they might hit the bottom of your knee. All of that being said, they were of nice leather, not as nice as some of my other boots. I don't think I would have paid full price for them so I'm glad for the sale. They suit my purposes for the price. I'll make some updates to this review as I continue to wear them.

These are beautiful boots and I wanted them to fit very badly. I am tall and on the slender side, though, and while they were very tight in the toes they were way too big in the heels and in the calves. I could have stashed my wallet down inside these boots and some spare reading material, too. I could also slip my heel right out of them, which seemed like a traction issue. I do have these problems with shoes a lot (loose heels, loose calves, but tight across my toes) so if you have a slightly less duck-shaped foot and wider calves these could be a great choice. The leather was a great quality and they really were nice looking boots.

The quality of the leather is very good and they are well made. I so wanted to keep these, but am returning because they look like rain boots on me - lots of gap at the top and the calf part (the back of the shaft) sticks out too much in profile.

I'll start by saying that these are cute boots. I wear a 7 extra wide regular calf, and that is what I ordered. The toe box on these is SO narrow, and the calf is huge. Also there were some scuffs in the leather and a dark spot on one of the boots that looked like a blob of brown dye or ink. It looked like these might have been worn and returned? Or somebody was rough with them trying them on before me. Wanted to love them, but no luck.

Take the time to measure your feet before you purchase these shoes. I wish I'd visited the manufacturer's website and downloaded their sizing chart before I made my order. Normally I wear a 6.5 medium, but when I put these on they were so tight in the toe box that I could not move my toes at all. The felt comfortable and had great support, so I really would prefer to exchange them. I think they'd be very comfortable if I'd gotten the right size. Unfortunately, the price had increased dramatically since I purchased them so I couldn't exchange them for the correct size.

I was looking for a basic leather knee-high black boot, and this one fits! Not all that easy to find. They are comfortable -- wore all day right out of the box without any breaking in. I like the heel height. As described, the heel is roomier than the toe, --maybe a little too roomy, but I wouldn't recommend sizing down. Right now the weather is warming, but in colder months thick socks will make the fit a bit more snug. Can wear this pair with both pants and skirts/dresses. Planning a Canadian vacation in the fall, and these boots are traveling with me. I plan to do a lot of walking in them. Quality seems good; I'm hoping they will hold up well. I always buy leather because I like to keep my boots for a long time.

Love these boots! They were suggested to me by a fellow Flight Attendant because how comfortable they are. I can work a 16hr day and my feet do not hurt. The quality is great and it's nice that these boots stand up and do not slouch down.

These are beautiful boots, and very comfortable. I have a hard time getting shoes that don't hurt my feet, but these feel great, even after wearing them for several hours. I will definitely be trying more shoes in the Naturalizer brand.
