Braun ESS Satin Hair 5 Slim Plates Hair Straightener, 220 Volts

This straightener worked great for me in Spain! All I had to do was plug it in directly into the wall outlet and turn it on. No adapter needed. It heated up very quickly. Worked just as well as my straightener back home in USA. I was very pleased and I would recommend this item for traveling to Spain or countries with the same sort of outlet.

I bought this for a trip to Europe. It worked well.

I needed a flat iron that I could use when I went to Europe and this fit the bill. I know that using my old flat iron with an adapter would have fried the life right out of it, due to the higher voltage in Europe, so I wanted one that started out with a higher voltage that could be used with a US adapter for when I am home. This actually came with a US adapter, so it saved me from having to buy one! Worked great for me when I was recently in Greece, and I know it will work well in any country I care to visit, as long as I have the appropriate adapter! Love that it has several different heat settings as well. The only problem with it is that sometimes a strand of hair will get caught in the "seam" of one of the irons and it pulls it - ouch! I'm sure it's just a user problem.

I was very happy with this straightening iron as I used it on my vacation in Ireland. It made for many good hair days and was very adaptable to the euro outlet! Highly recommend.

I loved the convenience of not needing a.adapter when traveling in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Nice product. Used it on oversees trip. Love that it has an adapter for US use. Not as sleek and soft gliding as my daily straighter but good enough to work in a pinch and does a decent job.
