Dash board mount works great!
The Magellan weighted mount was purchased to use with an older Magellan 7 inch GPS unit, to set it on the sash board in lieu of windshield mount. I wasn’t sure if it would support such a large GPS unit. It worked great! Just use the GPS suction cup on the weighted mount to to install GPS unit and then set on flat dash board…it stays where you set it. No vibration, movement, or bouncing around. I am happy with this purchase.

Stays in place
I use a 6in. GPS. Drove around town to see how it held the unit. Was pleased with performance of item. Liked the fact that it's a bit smaller than some units as the dash on some newer vehicles as odd shaped.

very stable
This works great in my 2019 Toyota Tundra. It fits perfectly in the tray built into the dashboard above the stereo. It is very stable. I am using a suction cup mount with my Garmin Drive Smart 86. Very happy with this purchase.
