One-and-done for my fine curls
I have baby-fine 2C curls and have tried many products at many price points, trying to find a good styling solution for my hair. Deva Curl, Jessicurl, Bounce Curl, Shea Moisture, Carol's Daughter, Giovanni, Curlsmith, Proclaim, and probably others I'm forgetting, but the results were always "eh." My hair so easily frizzes and gets dull or weighed down. I was attracted to this gel because of the flaxseed. For once I was not disappointed. My curls really popped; after scrunching they are soft and shiny. As a minimalist, I love that I can get all my curl needs with one product: moisture, curl enhancement, and hold. With the awesome price, I am super happy and hope they never stop making this.

Wonderful!
Its all natural, really smell good and moisturize with average hold. It's a good gel for naturals

Quality product that lives up to its claims
If you are looking for light hold (to pair with leave-in conditioner) this product is perfect. Since I wash my hair every 5-7 days and workout regularly, I like lighter products to use occasionally. This gel supports my natural curl pattern without dry my hair out or leaving my hair hard.

Great natural hold for curly hair
This product is good for the curly girl/curly guy method and produces more robust curls after scrunching out the crunch of the gel cast than LA Looks extreme sport gel. I wish the tube was bigger because I go through it pretty fast but I think the price is a pretty good value. There's not much scent to it. What I really like about it is that the outcome is a very natural look.

Absolutely Does NOT Work on My 2c/3a Hair
I bought this after seeing a bunch of curly girls rave about flax seed gel. This does NOT work on my hair. At all. I've used a small amount. I've used a large amount. I've used it on wash days. I've used it on refresh days. No matter what, my hair dries frizzy and ill-defined. I may as well not use product at all.That said, I think it smells good. Whoever described it as "fabric softener" is correct. Also, it's not sticky. Which is nice on the hands but worthless on the hair.

Excellent product
I have very fine curly hair. I have been searching for a styling product that is not too heavy for me. This gel is the best I’ve found. It definitely a keeper for me.
