Nailtiques Nail Protein Formula 2 Plus Treatment 0.25 (Pack of 2)

This is the first review I have ever posted on Amazon. I just feel that I need to convey how much this product has changed my life to maybe help out some other women out there. As a 50-something woman in a cold northern state, the sad state of my nails has been a problem for many years. I have tried EVERYTHING to help me grow just the most acceptable length of nails. But as I got older the ridges got worse, the splitting was terrible and the peeling was awful! I could barely get the nails to grow past the quick on my dominant hand. I have tried every other kind of polish, and have used every type of filler and repair type product out there. Then I tried Nailtiques Formula 2 Plus! From day one it seemed to glue together the peeling layers of my nails. It gives them strength with the flexibility needed to avoid keeping them from splitting when I hit them against something hard. I no longer need the rescue products to patch them back together. For the first time in about 20 years, they are growing towards the tips of my fingers. I have just purchased my second bottle and am very close to filing off the last bit of peeled nail, so yes, it does take a bit of time to have your damage grow out. But this product actually held my peeling nails together well enough to not have them broken down to the quick in the interim. I am in love with this product and will never need to try anything else again!!! Hallelujah!!! P.S. I also feel that their polish remover has been integral in helping prevent the dryness that caused much of my problem - I love that product too, and will never buy another!

after my first review (not 5 stars), I've continued to use this, on an almost daily basis...have def seen improvement in my nails. only thing I didn't like, from my initial review, is the peeling of it off my nails, but that seemed to happen only after soaking in water for long periods, which I guess should be expected. but, I have also noticed that it seems that it's prone to peeling if the layer of it on the nail is very thick...so I've found that about once a week (after about 3 recoats) I will take polish remover and go over slightly, mostly around cuticles and edges, to remove the thickest layers, then reapply...this seems to work really well, and, my nails themselves are not peeling like they used to. I've bought several months' supply! good stuff.

I had no nails before this. They always broke. Now I have long nails that people think are fake!!!

I ruined my nails from getting acrylic overlays. My nails were weak and peeling. I had to keep them cut to the nub. I tried several remedies to no avail until I tried this product. My nails are now thick and strong and I have to cut them back as they get longer than I like, but I am not complaining. I also take biotin every day and the combination really works. Highly recommend this product.

Used Nailtiques 2 for years before this came out. Put gel on my perfect nails for a trip and ruined them. This brought them back to life. I use two coats as a base coat.

I have always had very weak, peeling nails. I have been using this product now, for aproximately 14 years. My nails are hard as nails now and never peel. I love this and it is worth every penny of the cost, it lasts a long time.

This is truly magic in a bottle, i've worn artificial nails for over 20 years, those have caused my nails to be weak and tear.
