Vionic Women’s Kona Fitness Shoes Black

I have several pairs of Vionic sandals that I love. They have helped my plantar fasciitis so much! I have been looking for some Vionic tennis shoes but hadn't been able to find any that I thought I would like. These are lightweight and nice looking. They are SO comfortable. I feel like I am wearing slippers yet they support my arch well. I was nervous about sizing because in closed toed shoes I wear a 10 1/2 or an 11. After reading the reviews I decided to order a 10, the same size I wear in Vionic sandals. They fit perfectly. The 11's would have been too big. Thrilled with my purchase and price was great too!

I LOVE Vionic sandals, so it pains me to write a less than stellar review for anything Vionic, but I have to. A size 7 in this shoe fit me but that was only after I already returned a 7 1/2 that was too large. 7 1/2 is my usual athletic shoe size. Another Vionic shoe that I tried on in a store was a 7 1/2 and it fit, so there appears to be some inconsistency in their sizing between different styles. But the reason I returned them was their overall construction - there was no cushioning in these shoes. They felt stiff and uncomfortable except for the arch support. You shouldn't really have to break in a tennis shoe. With the numerous new athletic shoes that have swept the market, I found these to be very disappointing. They also seemed to be poor quality (my one complaint with some Vionic sandals), and the piping that goes around the opening for the foot (ankle area) looks like it would start coming loose any day on both pairs that I tried. I found it far more sensible to return these for a better quality brand name shoe with a removable insole, which I will replace with one designed for plantar support, and hopefully get months or maybe even years of comfortable use. I doubt I'll try a Vionic athletic shoe again. They need to step up the quality, especially on a closed shoe where I have many options. I'll limit my Vionic purchases to sandals..

I love these shoes!!! They are super comfortable and helped with my posture. Looks like regular tennis shoes; more stylish than I thought. I was thinking they would look dorky but when I got them in the mail I was very happy. Highly recommend.*discretion: At first your feet and ankles will hurt for about a week of wear because it is fixing your walk/step and posture but after that, they are wonderful!

These shoes are incredible, I swear they changed my life! I have flat feet, plantar fasciitis, bone spurs and arthritis, (and I’m pretty young...shouldn’t have worn flats, flip flops and went barefooted on hard wood floors for so many years). I had went to the foot doctor a few months after I had ordered these shoes, as it took a while to get into him, and guess what he wanted me to do... buy Vionic shoes, not from even from him, but from anywhere. I informed him that that’s what I had just started wearing.I bought my first pair of these shoes in December 2016, and after 15 months (1000+ miles of wear), they needed to be replaced because the insoles were wearing out, they lasted so much longer than any other shoes and they really helped keep my pain to a minimum when I wore them, or even in the evenings when I took them off. I just ordered 3 more pairs.As business professional I haven’t found any orthotic heels or flats that I like yet, so that’s my next quest.

I have extremely flat feet and as a result, my ankles pronate badly. That means that I have to be rather particular about the type of shoes I wear, especially as I've gotten older. These shoes are awesome. The support is wonderful and my ankles no longer hurt me at the end of the day. Even better, they were almost half the price I paid last year for a pair of New Balance shoes (which also provided good support).

I was looking for shoes I could wear ALL day long since I'm on my feet outdoors as a PE teacher and then do coaching thereafter. I bought these because I believe I have planters faciatis. The toe box of these shoes is wide and for me this is great since my last shoes pinched my toes. I can see how they'd be great for bunions. The shoes are comfortable but I was expecting more shock absorption and cushioning. At the end of the day my feet feel achier with these shoes than my last pair of regular Asics. So....if you're looking for a good pair of workout shoes, these will be good. If you're on your feet all day as I am----- I'd go with something else with more cushion and support.

I'm a critical care nurse, and I'm on my feet for pretty much 13hrs straight when I work. I was needing a shoe with good arch support. So far after 2 days of work my feet are only hurting a little. I'm a bit disappointed with the arch support and width of the shoe. I ordered a 7, and I'm a size 7. They run wide. I feel like they need a little more arch support. These don't have as much support in the arch area as my vionic flip flops. I probably wouldn't buy them again

This is my third type of shoe from Vionic Orthaheel, after getting plantar fasciitis last year. I had been using other "traditional" brands for cross-training shoes, inserting fasciitis soles in them. This time, I got the shoe made that way to start. They are so comfortable that I turned around two days later and bought a second pair for when the first pair wears too much.I did have to buy a size wider than usual.
