Real Steel 7521 T101 Thor Black G-10

Let me start by saying I own around 40 folding knives from Kershaw, Cold Steel, Spyderco, Boker, Ontario, and Zero Tolerance. This is my first Real Steel knife and I bought it after reading and watching YouTube reviews on it. This knife is my favorite of all. It is an absolute steel at this price and it's action and smoothness is better than any of my other knives, including the Spyderco Paramilitary 2. Yes, this knife is that good. From the buttery smooth flipping action, to the perfect grippiness of the G-10 handle scales, to the awesom 14C28N blade steel, this knife has it all. I sharpened it to a scary sharp edge with my KME sharpening system and it's even better. It didn't need sharpening, as it came shaving sharp, but I'm kind of an edge snob and wanted it to be next level sharp. It feels great in hand with rounded G-10. It also locks in place and you can get a great purchase on it with the gimping on the top back end of the blade.The only minor thing I can say negative about this knife is that the pocket clip is kind of tight but I removed it and bent it a little and it's perfect now.If you are thinking about getting this knife don't wait, just get it and I promise you won't be disappointed. The fit and finish and action of the T101 Thor is better than knives 3-4 times a much. Yes, it really is that good. Well done Real Steel!

This knife looks good. I am new to owning knifes but this is exactly what I wanted. The blade is not too big nor small. The handle feels light but has a good grip. The pocket clip did feel a little too tight but I may stretch it out later that is not an issue at all. I previously owned and carried around a kershaw leek which was also great but I wanted something bigger with the ability to work on multiple tasks. The leek felt like a good box cutter or stabbing poking kinda knife. I also liked that it came with a nice microfiber cleaning cloth. I will use that for my glasses.🙂

Yyyeaaahh, not as good as the photos which make the knife look like a sturdy build with robust materials. It isn't.There are some okay aspects to Real Steel's "Thor" ~ like very smooth action ~ but in hand, it is a disappointing attempt at an overbuilt tac folder with cheap plastic scales, a ho-hum blade that you could call a 'spearpoint', and a useless pocket clip that is stiffer than a porn-star and absolutely will not work. Griffin button-lock from RS a better choice.

Super impressed with the quality! For a knife at this price point, I'll compare it's action and build quality to that of some of my zero tolerance knives! Would surly buy again

One of the best bang for the buck knives out there. The bearing flipper action is butter smooth, this sucker flies open with authority. Not one complaint.

Das Messer kommt genau so an wie man es bestellt ... Sprich Rasiermesser scharf und super hochwertige! Bei mir ist die Klinge perfekt zentriert und alles ist Preisentsprechend hochwertige verarbeitet. Keine scharfen Kanten oder sonstiges was stören könnte. Liegt gut in der Hand und für meine Hände hat es die perfekt Größe. Allerdings finde ich das es auf Fotos kleiner aussieht als es ist. Das stört mich allerdings nicht. Eher im Gegenteil, ich bin positiv überrascht.Wer sich für bisschen mehr Geld ein Oberklasse Messer kaufen möchte ist meiner Meinung nach mit dem "Real Steel T101 Thor" sehr gut beraten.Ich würde es jedem empfehlen dem 70€ nicht zuviel für ein Taschenmesser ist.

Hallo Messer Freunde.Das Thor ist heute gekommen. Ein toler erster eindruck schon beim aus packen. Anspruchsvoll verpackt, wie ihr an hand der Fotis erkenen könnt. Hätte ich jetzt garnicht erwartet. Hatte schon viktorinox messer die schin fast aus der verpackung gefallen sind.Das Messer ist sehr leicht gängig, liegt gut in der hand und hat ein gutes gewicht. Scahrf ist es auch wie Sau. Das ist mein erstes Messer von real steel aber warscheinlich nicht das letzte. Das waren jetzt meine ersten eindrücke soweit. Habs noch nicht im altag gebrauch aber ich bin zuversichtig. Für qualität und halbarkeit hab ich deswegen noch keine Sterne vergeben.

Gewicht und Größe find ich gut für ein EDC.Verarbeitung scheint auch gut zu sein. Die Schärfe ist auch okay. Kann Mann ja selbst noch nachbehandeln. Zwei Punkte fallen mir aber schon ein wenig negativ ins Auge bzw. ins Ohr. Ja genau. Ins Ohr. Die Griffschalen HÖREN sich für mich nach billigem hohlen Plastik an. Zweiter Punkt ist der Gürtelklipp.Das Blech ist sehr stramm und mit der Form kann ich's kaum am Bund meiner Hosentasche befestigen.Ich werde versuchen den vorderen Teil etwas weiter nach oben zu biegen. Schade. Der Rest ist nämlich sehr gut gelungen.

Schönes, gut verarbeitetes Klappmesser. Es ist sehr scharf vom Werk aus (geht noch schärfer!)Es öffnet sich sehr leicht über den "Flipper" mit einen schönen, satten "Klack".Zum Entriegeln benötigt man etwas Kraft. Der Griff aus G10 ist sehr griffig und liegt gut in der Hand.Die Klinge ist kugelgelagert und sehr leichtgängig - auf die Finger aufpassen!Der Klingenstahl ist 14C28N von Sandvik (Schweden)Ein Lanyard liegt nicht bei, wäre aber sehr wünschenswert.Anregung: In der Verpackung von solchen Messern immer Heftpflaster beilegen.Die beste Art zu sagen: Vorsicht scharf!Andere schöne Messer von Real Steel sind das :- Snow Leopard- Sea Eagle- Griffin(persönliche Favoriten)
