I like the design of this case a lot. The price is fair for the product. My chief issue with it is that when it arrived it reeked of fake-leather finisher. It isn't "smoke" as one person put it- it is solvent chemical residue. My wife likes the smell of gasoline and said it didn't bother her, but the smell made me sick, and was not faint- it was the equivalent of the lady who doused herself in perfume. The pouch sitting out in the open air could fill half a room with the stink- it would leave its smell inside bags and on things near it. So what did I do? I put it in my kids playroom up on a empty shelf that gets sun, and after two months the smell is gone. I hope my kids are ok. :-)

I purchased this case for my 7th gen iPod Classic after searching rather exhaustively for a case. This was the best case I found that covered and protected the iPod. It fits snuggly and securely. I like that the flap covers the front and that it has a belt clip if needed. The flap is fairly stiff where it bends, but I would imagine this will loosen up with some use. I feel like it is also fairly good protection if the iPod gets dropped. It is slightly inconvenient in that if your headphones are plugged in with the case closed and you go to open the flap, the headphone plug will be in the way. I can't really think of a way around that though.My only complaint about it is that mine absolutely wreaks of some kind of chemical/artificial materials smell. I have tried airing it out, but with no luck. I imagine this is from the fake leather that it's made from. This is the only downside to it that I've really found. However, I feel that the positives out-way the negatives and I am happy that a company produced a decent case.

My ipod fits nice and tight and the case also has a pocket for a credit card or DL. The magnet works well and while the headphone jack lines up there is a lot of distance between the iPod and the case. You probably couldn't use headphones with an L shaped jack without closing the case over top of it, and it has a belt clip on the back that wasn't listed in the details; I was looking for one without a belt clip and that's why I gave it four stars.The package arrived timely and hadn't been tampered with. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and despite knowing about the clip I would still buy it again!

This case got five stars because of its perfection for what I wanted, the outstanding packaging and the quality of the case.My brand new, latest Classic fits perfectly, snug enough to stay put, but just enough tension to allow easy removal. The earphone plug socket, the 30 pin socket, the click wheel and screen cutouts are sized and placed perfectly. The material and stitching are both high quality. After trying three other cases, this one takes the cake.I am ordering another one for my wife's new Classic as well.

I am using this case on a 7th gen ipod classic. The fit is good and also secure without adding too much bulk. The flap has a magnet to keep it closed. The click wheel and screen are exposed when the front flap is open but well protected when the case is closed. Would definitely protect the ipod in case of a fall. There is also a belt clip (not-removeable) on the back. Even though ipod classic cases are not available in as many choices any more i feel that this case should be satisfactory for anybody who does not mind a fiip cover.

I am on my fourth iPod. I am a music fanatic, owning more than 3000 CDs and who-knows how many downloaded songs. Music is woven throughout my life, it accompanies me everywhere. As a result, I needed a case that was durable, ergonomic and versatile.This case, while obviously not water-resistant or water-proof, has continued to amaze. The quality of the leather and stitching is top-notch, I love the magnet in the case cover, which helps to keep the case closed. Nothing fancy about this little baby, just a well-designed and well-manufactured product!

I like this case. The material feels durable and serviceable. My disappointment with it is that it has magnets to keep the cover closed. I should have noticed but it was a late night and I had gone through a number of cases.my bad. What I would prefer is that the magnets be replaced with Velcro. I will use this case after I remove the magnets and replace them with Velcro. Once I have done that there will be no returning it, which I wasn't going to do anyway. I actually like the case. A little customization will make it better.

It comes down to "false" advertisement. Order "THIS" and get "THAT" ... - than why don't they state clear: ... it's a very good DLO-knock-off made of pl-leather (rubbery smelling material) - it's not made of leather as the original DLO. BUT: fit and function are still perfect. The hole is oval - seems to be big enough to sneak peek at the screen, same size of hole as the original DLO. ... but: Man, that thing stinks ...
