Leaks with very light rain, would not recommend
For a $300 tent I would expect this to keep water out. Loved the idea of modular tenting with my family, but the very first use we realized the fabric is not water proof. In emailing seller getting the runaround about me flipping the bill to ship back to Isreal, and then they would assess and deem whether it is manufacturer defect. Not guaranteeing my money back for dissatisfaction. We are seasoned campers/hikers and I loved the idea of this design, but there is a lot to be improved. Was also not impressed at the crossbar design. There is no where to put the small crossbar, as far as pockets to insert it into. I could see this wearing over time on the side of the tent and causing damage. I noticed on version 2.0 they are adding ventilation and have altered the crossbar design, probably largely due to it being ineffective. For the amount of money spent you can get a really nice hiking setup with lightweight tent, bag and mattress and make sure you tent is waterproof...I hope to get my money back.

RHINOWOLF!!!!! The only tent you need. (If you are single) lol
Let start the review with I'm not an outdoorsy person, camping is fun in short bursts for me. Never really had a tent I liked till I bought this tent. Its comfortable and keeps the bugs and elements out very well. For extra comfort, my bother and I when we camp with ours. We use a double-wide cot underneath each so we have some storage and gets us off the ground entirely. Plus the tent does not get muddy on the bottom if you didn't pack a tarp. So easy to set up it's stupid, one pole and one cross pole goes inside. Air Mattress and sleeping bag are stupid comfortable and warm. Get it, stop thinking about it and pull the trigger.

Love the concept, just some suggestions
I think it'd be pretty easy to expand on this and make a tent that's larger for full camping instead of just backpacking. In other words, an easy to carry tent with bed insert, all that other stuff, but also standing room. Maybe not 10x10 or so, but 7x7 wouldn't be too much of a stretch. Yes, it'd be heavier but it'd be fantastic for me. I'd love to see the entire concept expanded. BTW, hilarious ad. If only everything were marketed as awesomely as this

Poor Quality, Horrible Customer Service
I bought two units on Kickstarter (not Amazon) but I feel strongly to post here to hopefully save anyone else from the hassle and expense of buying a Rhinowolf. Basically, one unit (blue) arrived with a 4 in hole cut out of the mosquito netting and the tent pole holes were sewn too closely together to fit the poles easily. The second unit (green) ripped at the seams by the handle the first time I opened it. They are also over a pound heavier than advertised and they do NOT zip comfortably together to make one bed. There is a divider between them and a large hole at the feet. I contacted customer service and receive the run-around for months. Eventually I paid $94 to mail the defective units to Israel for repair/replacement (the images and videos I sent showing the issues were not enough for them to just mail replacements). After 6 weeks I got a message that the address Haim gave me is not deliverable and my items are being returned. Who knows if I'll actually see them again. Please save your money. I loved the idea of this product but I could not be more disappointed.

NOT WATERPROOF - Leaks in a light rain
I'm really disappointed with this tent. It's such a cool idea and their marketing was really great, but it just doesn't deliver. I tried out the tent overnight when it lightly rained and in the morning there was a puddle of water inside the tent. For a $300 tent, I would expect that it would be able to keep me dry through light rainfall. I've emailed RhinoWolf about this, wanting to return the tent, and have not gotten any response.
