China it's a cheap knock off not what you want

any rod for the 4000? beside the recomended because i dont like telescopic rods

Why does the Rotor nut continue to loosen up?

Not sure if you are referring to the drag or the handle screw. I have several of these reels and no issue with any nut loosening up.
