Until you can fight your way to breaking it down in your mouth, you do get chocolate flavor from the chocolate chips sprinkled in the bar.Now, if you are looking for a protein bar than can also act as a weapon for self defense, this is your go to protein bar.Don't be bamboozled by bells and whistles because they use "healthy" ingredients. They forgot to add flavor and an ability to bite and chew it without breaking a tooth.

They're a firmer bar than I think most protein bars are, so not chalky which is a usual turn off for me. Definitely taste the blueberry and love that they have a flavor that's not pb or chocolate!
