Nightmare
Do yourself a favour and don't buy a cheap Chinese LiDAR with minimal documentation, zero online support and code libraries written in broken English. Spent 6 months integrating it with various Arduino boards for a BEng project, absolute nightmare. Endless problems, never worked. Please, save your sanity and buy a different LiDAR. I suggest the Slamtec RPLidar A1, that one did at least produce workable point cloud data eventually.
