TAG ALT III 944 Youth Football Shoulder Pad

I love the pads and would have given five stars if were not for the price. If price is not a factor buy these pads, my child is in little league football and wanted the most protection for him, if he gets hurt, mom will kill me!!

These are my son’s 3rd pair of TAG’s ALT shoulder pads. He is now in HS. I am the equipment manager for a youth org. I have seen every brand and style of pad under the sun. There are a lot of good brands and styles, however I think these TAG’s are the best on the mkt. They provide great protection and fit. Also they are lightweight and comfortable. They hug the player and my son has great mobility. He plays RB and slot receiver and they are the only pads he wants to wear.

These shoulder pads are the best I could find. Great quality and my son loves them. His teammates love the buckles that go under the arms. All of theirs have elastic straps. They are cool, light weight, high quality, and very safe. Have order two of these for my son, as he has out grown them.

Nice pads over all but my son put them on and immediately said these aren’t going to work for what I need. Pads came in missing a piece on the strap not what you would expect from a more expensive set of pads.
