VT2519 Hose to Drain Adapter Accessory for RIDGID Wet Dry Vacs

This is a really good attachment to have.It fits perfect and functions well on my large ridged shop vac.It saves the trouble of lugging 16 gallons of water to dump it.

The base (large end) of the adapter has internal threads to screw on to the Wet/Dry Vac. This works very well with the Gilmour 03V Brass Garden Hose Connector with Shut-Off Valve. I turn the valve off when suctioning through the vacuum and open it to drain. I can also attach a hose to the valve.

Fair for the cost

Bought this for a Craftsman Wet/Dry vac that I own. Product shipped on time and was well packaged. The adaptor fit securely to the vacuum with no issues at all. Only complaint is that it is overpriced for what is essentially a threaded piece of plastic

I could never find this in Big Box stores and feel it should be included with vacuum so the shop vav can be used to pump water and other liquids without having to empy shop vac. Great product.

So much easier to attach a hose to drain the vac tank, than to spend the time take the whole rig out to dump it when time really matters! A really great option when you need to clean up leaks! Thanks very much!!

Helps tremendously when sucking water out of my barn with my Craftsman 20 gallon.

After trying multiple hoses, the water barely moved through any of them. It would have taken at least an hour to empty my 14 gallon ridged vac. Will be returning.
