Tiny sound but great concept.
The sound is terribly tiny with no bass but I love the concept. Definitely not for music and barely passable for talk radio. The magnets work great and you’ll forget you’re wearing it. I wish they would make one with bigger speakers and higher quality of sound. I bought mine on sale so I’ll keep it as a novelty.

I really love my Zulu and here is why!
I really love my Zulu and here is why. First, about me I am a pretty active person I mountain bike, trail run, hike 14ers and ski to name a few sports that I enjoy. And I really love to listen to music while doing these activities. As most of us know there are some problems that can come with listening to music while enjoying our favorite trails like: 1. Safety with not being able to hear other trail users approaching from behind or even worse distracted drivers. 2. Comfort ear buds falling out or not fitting comfortably under a helmet or a hat on cold days are all problems I experience regularly. The Zulu speakers have been able to address these problems for me. With Zulu my music is securely affixed to whatever I am wearing it could be a t-shirt or my puffy down coat and it stays put. There are not any uncomfortable earbuds in my ear blocking all of the ambient noises around me. I can adjust the music volume to enjoy my favorite playlist and still hear what is going on around me like mountain bikers when I am running. It goes a long way to help keep the peace with other trail users. Another benefit is that my music lets others know that I am approaching them without having to sound rude asking to pass. Plus it acts as my bear bell so to speak to the four legged animals out there. I have tried multiple shape earbuds even bone conductive headphones with little success when it comes to comfort under a hat or ear band on cold days. My Zulu speakers have been outstanding in this area.In conclusion I want to rate a few specific qualities of the Zulu speakers on a scale of 1-5, 5 being best. This is with respect to the other audio devices designed for exercising. Safety a big 5 (what can I say they make it a safer way to enjoy music) Sound quality: 4 (surprisingly good), Battery life 5 (I have used them for as much as 5-6 hours without draining the battery), Comfort 5 (My ears never hurt), Staying in place 5 (they don’t move even on rough mountain bike descents), Durability 4 (have held up in snow and light rain) I have and would highly recommend Zulu audio to my friends and family.

Best Audio
These are the best Audio Bluetooth speakers i ever had, you can easily hear the other sounds while listening to music or doing your own work. Sound quality is really good, i easily get to listen music for 5 hours in one charge with medium volume.

Comfortable/handy and good value
Positives first: sound is nice. Could use a little more base, but then they'd be Bose and cost 5 times more. Second, magnets... very handy! I attach them in the front as shown in literature, on shoulders closer to the ear, and collars, hoods keep the hidden. Magnets are plenty strong and the speaker's weight is minimalmaking the very comfortable. Third, phone works very nicely. No one can tell that I'm using a bluetooth device. Fourth, value... combine the above for less than $40 and you're all the wiser for your choice.Negatives: touch more base while keeping price and weight down? Also, on/off sound is much too loud... dont shut them off in a meeting! Bluetooth connection SOMETIMES seems spotty, but range is good at 35+ feet.Lastly... ues, other people can hear them if their close and the volume is high. Bit, that's why I'll sometimes wear them near neck or top of shoulders.Overall- I like em and they're a good value!

Excellent for running
EDIT FOR SECOND SET I JUST BOUGHT : I still have the old set reviewed below, those are 3 years old now and still my long run fav. I bought a second set and there are differences. Sound is wonderful, they added lower volume settings which is an upgrade. But the battery is not the 12 hours the old ones have, it is exactly the 4 hours advertised at 50% volume, cheaper battery. And the bluetooth is good but not quite as good as the old, but cell towers will over-ride it if you get too close.OLD VERSION :So far have put around 90 miles with these speakers and really love them. The Pros:The sound quality is really good for such small speakers, was surprised. With the magnets and neck cord they stay where you put them no matter what, and no bounce. The BT connection is really good, has not skipped or dropped yet.The battery life is way more than they 4 hrs at 75% they put in the description, yep, more. As they are pretty loud I run them at absolute minimum setting. Did a 6 hour run last weekend, full charge at start, at end as far as I could see from the tiny battery gauge it was about 60%. Theoretically that could be 15 hours of music, hedge that to 12 and is still enormous. You can protect them in the rain by just putting small ziplock bags over them, you can hear them fine thru them. But have to re-orient the cord down, not up over neck so water will not run down cord. They will still stay in place. The Cons:Minor, minor quibbles really. Revising the volume settings to give a few lower levels, I just put 2 pieces of electrical tape over half the holes. Insta lower volume. The battery gauge on phone is a TINY bar, better to be a % number.A rubber insert to cover the micro-usb port could be nice, but not vital. And the ability to recharge while still playing music would be worth a few extra dollars.
